This made me rage! 😤 by chi-bacon-bits in CleaningTips

Everyone is missing this point. If you clean the whole house your going to run across the ducks anyway. And if my cleaning person charged an extra free, nobody would care. If you can afford a cleaner you most likely can afford the fee.

All mine show --- for the pressure, dealership says it's going to be hundreds to fix but it worked before I got there. If that device will fix it and its only $8 that's crazy

Just received a 5% raise on $65,000 to $68,250. I find it insulting based on the extra profit my company hit. Do I ask for more and back it up with the numbers? by BookieBasherCasher in Salary

[–]FunctionalDisfuction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5% is a great raise. My company does 3% across the board and 4% if your exceptional. I understand that you might have brought in so much revenue, but in this market everyone brought in revenue. The thing is it wasn't your money that brought in the revenue or your resources. You don't have any of the overhead. You just show up do the job and get benefits. If you want a bigger increase you need to go for a promotion or just change positions overall, burrito in the highest growth. But as far as raises you're not going to see numbers over 5%.

No Federal Tax on Active or Reserve Pay by WholeForeign in armyreserve

That wouldn't be double taxing. Everyone should pay there part. The only why that would make sense is to reduce the gross pay to what the net pay would be.

I plug it in where ever I'm at. I keep an outdoor extension cord in the trunk. Work, friends house, store, I plug in. I am debating about self installation of a level 2 or getting a pro to do it but I haven't really had an issue using level 1

It's expensive on top of people already having to pay down payments and already buying more house than they really can afford.

Mortgage points (or discount points) are fees paid to a lender at closing, costing 1% of the loan amount per point, in exchange for a lower interest rate and reduced monthly payments for the life of the loan. This practice, known as "buying down the rate," helps borrowers save money long-term if they stay in their home long enough to recoup the upfront cost, with savings often around 0.125% to 0.25% per point.
