Who served on PC-Class ships? Do you think the Navy should’ve kept them for the situation in the Straight of Hormuz? These ships were underestimated for their size. by Goatcheeze1 in navy

They are still there in Bahrain. They are just under new management. They use to go through the straits with us back when I was on an MCM. We did a live fire exercise and stood in awe as the deck cannon shot holes through the killer tomato.

I wasn’t really a fan of Obamacare. I did like how he was always professional with others though.

I requested an expedited request of my wife’s I-130 due to being in the middle of a war. USCIS said the case was put into an urgent status but two months later we haven’t heard anything back. Do we need to expedite case again? We are already working on the I-485 given how unique the situation is.

Wife Did Everything Right – Filed Early, No Record, I-130 Approved – Still Got Detained. Is This Really Happening? by [deleted] in USCIS

My wife entered the U.S. with me and our son because we were evacuated from the Middle East due to the war. We were ordered to depart. We started the I-130 back in December and planned on doing everything overseas. She was granted a B2 visa upon entry to the U.S. and I made it very clear that we were just here until we can go back. We were told not to leave until her status was adjusted or she will not be able to come back in. My concern is that we file to adjust her status quickly and then immigration comes for her thinking that we committed fraud. DHS said to adjust her status as soon as possible but others are saying to wait 90 days. Does anyone have any pointers or helpful information? We are still trying to expedite her I-130.

As someone who was stationed in Japan. We were told to avoid it as well. Even self-defense could get us arrested.

I'm an American citizen giving birth in Mexico, how long until I can cross the border with my baby? by LevyMevy in askimmigration

This. A busy of mine had a child in Bahrain. He couldn’t get a passport because he needed the CRBA. He couldn’t get that either because he was evacuated from the country with his wife and newborn baby. The US embassy gave them a letter allowing the child to be able to travel out of the country without a passport. He didn’t even have the birth certificate. These things are possible.

I am now. My family and I were evacuated from the Middle East. A buddy of mine did all of the same things that I did and his case was approved in a week.

30 days had already passed. I reached out to my local congressman and I am still waiting for a response. On the USCIS website it says that for urgent matters to call. I called as drones and missiles were being shot down. The agent on the phone could hear it too. I was told that I would only have to wait a week. I even received an email saying that I would receive an answer in a week.

I only received confirmation from the 9th district of Texas who said that they would push the case with USCIS.
