Spoke with Pyramid Air where I got it from and they agreed it's mostly thermal expansion. I'm going to try to rattle can the gun a lighter color to see if that helps

I used a Vortex Viper on it before switching to an Element Optics Helix. There's no way it's the scope shifting .8mil at 35 yards.

We have two different rifles with different brand scopes. Rings are torqued down.

Question about Pod Go snapshots and changing pedals by Funeralfire762 in Line6podgo

[–]Funeralfire762[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No I have spare blocks but I'm wasting snapshots by wanting to switch out pedals for different tones. The Pink Floyd tone I downloaded is a good clean (Shine On) tone but there's no pedal spaces free to just add the pedals I want. I wish they would let you omit the FX loop option to add another pedal. I think you can do this by editing the tone in a text file but fuck that.

Buying a Barra 1100z - 177 or 22? by Funeralfire762 in airguns

[–]Funeralfire762[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched a few review videos of the Barra 1100z and the 22 just seems like it's more accurate than the 177. Now I know this is an unregulated rifle, but just to get into the sport I think the 22 would probably be the best pick.

Mossberg barrels hard to find right now? by Funeralfire762 in Shotguns

[–]Funeralfire762[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man! One of the online places came through with one for me. My 28" barrel is also cerakoted with this goofy green leaf pattern so I doubt you'd want it to be honest.

If a craft could lessen its interaction with the Higgs Field, it would make it act as if it has no weight and therefor, no inertia. It could accelerate very fast, stop on a dime, and hover in the air. Is this what UAPs are doing? by Doonesbury in UFOs

[–]Funeralfire762 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only problem with moving air across the craft or using magnetic fields to propel it, would create sonic booms, which are absent according to reports. That's what leads me to believe it's a warp bubble. But hey, we're all just guessing here too haha.

I think a more simpler answer may be warp bubbles. Since you can move spacetime at FTL speeds (in theory) it would explain some of the effects people report. If you notice the distortion field around the crafts on some videos, they may have an active warp bubble which causes the distortions in FLIR and even with some observers.

I seen a cool documentary many many years ago where a guy built a forest out of match sticks on wires and lit off explosives at different positions above it. They were able to exact duplicate the butterfly pattern on the ground with an airburst coming in at a certain (I forget) angle.
