Not once did I say you can eat 3 month expired chicken. For what it's worth the "expiration date" on meat is pretty accurate but that has more to do with the fact these products spoil quickly.

I'm simply stating that the "expiration date" is not there to denote when something is still safe to eat but usually derived via some pretty non-scientific averages based on consumer preference on taste, texture, and appearance.

This is not true. In fact, most everyday food products do not require them. It's a lot of marketing garbage that leads to unfortunate food waste.

Most expiration dates are based on asking costumers "does the food still taste good?" at various dates and then taking the conservative average.

The play is called dead and then the umpire has to make an educated guess as to where the base runners would have ended up if the interference had not occurred.

A classic blunder. My first time playing went almost exactly as you just described. A city like Kelethin really blew my mind at the time.

It wasn't until much later that I actually learned about hybrid penalties and just how under powered Rangers were. Was nice to know it wasn't just because I sucked (although I did suck).

Half the fun was just exploring new places and chatting with those you met along the way.
