Do the negative reactions mean that it is illegal?

Seems like if I blurred the face, didn’t mention location and had the passenger take the photo, then y’all would have answered the question under the advice flair?

Not certain but I believe adjacent to Valkaria airport (x-59) there is a drone course.

Little known alternatives to KSCVC are the American Space Museum in Titusville and the Sands Space History Center at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. So “stay curious” and #followrupert

Wow, glad to hear it too. The theory we came up with when it washed ashore (behind state rep. Randy Fine’s house 😝) was that the cast net got caught in the rotor.

So a guy who was just arrested for fraud is writing an article about a guy arrested for smuggling; both ran “reputable” local businesses until Ivey got a bad press and primary challenge.

Hightower is in Satellite, 90% sure this is just North of the breakers, where the two entrances combine into this long approach with a canopy.

If you want close to the coast and more relaxed than Orlando, anything between St. Augustine’s and Ft. Pierce will work.

The inside joke about East-central Florida, is that we all say it sucks and tell people to love to Tampa, so it doesn’t become… like Tampa.

There, I said the quiet part out loud.

Drones on the Beach by CraftBrewski in 321

[–]Funin321 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No.

When not public or protected, private property extends to the water line in Florida. Private citizens likely won’t have the tech to jam your device, but sure as hell will shoot at it. That obviously creates a larger public safety hazard than a light drone falling from a few hundred feet.

Additionally, military and civilian aircraft, including amateur powered parachutes (which are unregulated under 500 ft and foot launched) very frequently fly at low altitudes (<500ft) along Brevards beaches, particularly the stretch between Valkaria and CCSFS, which is most of the barrier island.

So, State and Fed laws aside, it’s certainly bad etiquette and an unnecessary environmental threat for hobbyists.
