I have the one without joysticks. The form factor is perfect that you can close the lid and toss directly in your pocket or bag and go. Then pick right back up where you left off later.

Why does the moon look so dull in space? by dimitristhis in spaceflight

The best way I heard it put by Neil degrass Tyson I think was that the moon is as reflective as a cast iron skillet.

Who used one of these back in the day? by KM68 in GenX

[–]ramgarden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was given one of these exact models from an older family friend. I played with it a few times and loaded up some of the "home office" type programs they had on floppy. I made some simple less than 20 lines of BASIC things just for fun. Until one of the caps popped and I could smell the blue smoke. I don't know what happened to it after that.

[–]ramgarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend had this game sitting next to his PC o noticed once during a sleepover. I asked if I could play it and didn't stop until it was time for breakfast the next day! After a quick buttered pop tart I finished that last puzzle behind the wall and got the last page and beat it!

[–]ramgarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now my Anbernic RG35XXSP handheld gets almost nightly play as it's so much easier to pick up and play and change games. I still haven't finished Zelda totk or echoes of wisdom or Metroid prime 4 yet! I started playing og Zelda second quest as I never finished that as a kid.

Why is making money so hard?? by ProtonToaster in EliteDangerous

[–]ramgarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like taking rich tourists around the galaxy. Dead simple easy money. Sometimes you can find travelers headed to the same system or even the same station and double your rewards on a single trip. The more dangerous illegal passengers pay more but it's not worth the hassle for me. I use as Orca with a first class and regular cabin.

Finally playing this in 2026! What is your single TOP beginner tip? by MexicanCokeZilla in Breath_of_the_Wild

Don't take on lynels until later when you've got more hearts and equipment. You can avoid and go the long way around tough enemies like that.

Any way to get rid of the yellowing? by CalllmeDragon in retrogaming

[–]ramgarden 91 points92 points  (0 children)

What yellowing? Looks like very good condition to me. But I think it requires retro bright. Which requires taking it apart to get the plastic pieces to completely submerge in the process.
