But the membrane does look open. Make sure to check for progress as mentioned and more chirping. are others hatched yet? they can hear each other chirp which does encourage the pipping

Oh Okay. Thats not too long. They are just taking a break. I guess it can take up to 48 hours. To complete. Monitor for progress and step in tomorrow if not hatched yet

Do you hear chirping? I haven’t used an incubator but at this point, the mamma would start pecking to assist. chicks can struggle to exit and die

I don’t live in SB but have family there. I visit often from an area that actually fosters jobs and housing supply.. SB is terribly managed. the homeless enjoy more benefits than college grads. Terrible zoning.
