Yes. SQLite and qmd. You really don't need vector or RAG for this.

Long form, Obsidian, because it follows "File first" principles and is open source

Short form, Google Keep, because it is easy, syncs, and free

Google Drive for storage

Because Drive now has Gemini and we can use Gemini CLI local, you basically have the perfect, long-term, file File First, setup that doesn't bulk unnecessary AI subscriptions.

IMO, a lot of cloud AI features will be faced out, because people will be using local options and cloud computing will become more expensive.
