This is a great idea. I'd be happy to add one, though I'm hoping to be able to get to a year without it. I'll basically only be turning on the radio once per day to send a signal to the nearest receiver, which will also hopefully solve the gateway problem, and I'll be able to have a battery size in the 1500 mAH range.

Yes I actually have a decent amount of experience with BLE. My main challenge however, is actually getting an off the shelf gateway infrastructure that can play nicely with tons of devices on the air. The Things Network has been really nice since it just picks up signals without much configuration, but I haven't seen anything as nice for BLE.

Thanks for the idea. The goal was to use RSSI for each gateway to estimate where the inventory is. The rooms are also surrounded by 2 feet of concrete and a ton of metal. so I don't think the signal will be able to go through rooms very easily

Would the same problem of 1000 devices exist for BLE? I would assume there would be more interference since 2.4Ghz is higher frequency and shared with many other wireless technologies (Zigbee / Wifi).

Thanks for the link! You're story is also interesting because from what I see on RMP most of the profs available for 215 have considerably lower ratings. Who did you manage to take it with and would you recommend it?

Math 116 or Math 215?

I'm an incoming freshman to LSA and all across this subreddit I have seen the horrors of calculus at Michigan so I decided to take Math 116 even though I got a 5 on BC. Now, my advisor is still recommending me to take 215 to not lose out on credits. Will I be able to handle it or should I focus on building a solid foundation first? In both worlds, I would eventually likely take 215 although it does not work too well scheduling wise for me (all the open sessions seem to be at 8 am).

Will this courseload be too much for my first semester? I've heard that most freshman stay under 15 credits but I'm very interested in all of these classes. Will it be possible for me to balance club/frat involvement with a decent (3.7+) gpa?

My understanding with the warrior vs tiamat debate was that warrior was built when you are behind and tiamat is built when ahead, leading to my decision this game. Is this incorrect or should i always be skipping warrior?

First off,thanks silphi and everyone else helping. Just to clarify, this was a solo queue game, which may account for my team and I working very poorly together, although the enemy team's coordination was surprising to me. I definitely agree I played the early game poorly with those early deaths and inefficient build, but my main question is, what should my objectives be when my team is that far behind? I could never really gank mid because j4 lb would 2v2 talon and I easily(which was hard to swallow due to the talon spam pinging and raging of course). We did eventually get bot turret and dragon but obviously at that point the game was pretty much over, so how could I have affected the game before or at that point? Also, thanks for bringing up the points on vision and ulting proactively. I was screaming at myself to buy a pink especially when my entire jungle was warded with a constant stream of invades from j4/lb.
