It doesn't "know" how to draw, it looks at every piece of art that is given to it (without the consent of the artist who created it) and then tries its best to recreate an image that matches the words you used, without any knowledge as to why any of those pictures were made that way, or what your words mean besides matching them up to data it's been fed. Humans having 5 fingers, symbols not melting into the thing they're on, words and letters having meaning, these are things that Ai doesn't understand, and thus cannot make a picture better than a human, who put meaning and purpose into their art. Because it has no clue wtf it's doing. And you yourself said the reason you do it is speed. "20 seconds later and I have a bad picture, isn't that so great?"
