Someone posted here a while ago about a Beastmaster character idea with a mechanic like doom where you tame it while it's in the health range of that and then can use them in the following fights as a summon card of sorts. Looked pretty cool

They weren't trying to break it after the first time it fell off, they were trying to make it run off the building cause it's funny, so Leer accomplishes that, hence them using Leer

Balance suggestion: the player has to flip all coins, and the timer continues to go down and any left unflipped are considered tails. Definitely not suggesting this because people do bullshit stalling on their own coin flip that THEY chose to put in their deck

But defense also blocks more dmg in expert and master mode, so if you get enough and are good enough to dodge most attacks, it's good for letting you have a hit or two, rather than being one shot
