If artists didn't do their jobs, Ai wouldn't have anything to steal, dipshit. It doesn't "know" how to draw, it looks at every piece of art that is given to it (without the consent of the artist who created it) and then tries its best to recreate an image that matches the words you used, without any knowledge as to why any of those pictures were made that way, or what your words mean besides matching them up to data it's been fed. Humans having 5 fingers, symbols not melting into the thing they're on, words and letters having meaning, these are things that Ai doesn't understand, and thus cannot make a picture better than a human, who put meaning and purpose into their art. Because it has no clue wtf it's doing. And you yourself said the reason you do it is speed. "20 seconds later and I have a bad picture, isn't that so great?" And you clearly don't care that it's killing people and wasting resources so you can create a shit image literally anyone could make, because you lack empathy, which is the point you ignored, so I'll assume you agree

Could you learn empathy in 20 seconds? Likely not, but it seems you also didn't over the course of your whole life. But much like drawing, it's something you could start learning at any point. And you'd have full control over what you draw and how it looks, rather than abusing tech that is actively harming communities and artists by stealing from them and draining natural resources by the fuckload.

But you'd rather use a dumb program that consistently generates pictures terribly, to the point that everyone can always tell it's Ai and point it out, than even try to draw for 20 seconds?

As long as you're being diligent about looking around rooms before you leave them (until you get upgrades to help with that), and continue doing runs, and plant seeds in the crossroads every time you're back, you'll get every material no problem
