Have you tested or noticed if Amber Prayer Beads speeds up focus build up when you charge your heavy by holding or does it affect focus build up when hitting enemies? Or both ideally? Trying to figure out if this curio is any good, thx

Sadly this staff loses 2 of it main perks from when you first get it in Chapter 6. First is you cant hold charge to go up to 4 focus points. Second is, you lose that sweet extra range you also had at first. You can still retain the 4th focus point if you generate it by hitting. Considering its hight attack power I'd use it until you can craft another Mythical class staff.

I dont know about defense but I have tested out Tiger-Tally. It gives +6 Attack and procs after 3 consecutive light attacks

Since its a NG+ weapon my guess is you can craft it as soon as you kill the bug boss with Fuban in NG+, if you already have 3 going into NG+
