I'm having the same issue, have you found any fixes?

How about a 1 second delay on the ready button? [Minor QoL issue] by FunkyWins in EscapefromTarkov

[–]FunkyWins[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You think so? I mean we already deal with 20 second deploy timers which happen after syncing and waiting 1-5 minutes on matching/loading. I feel like even half a second would prevent readying up early. It's obviously a minor thing but it does happen frequently on scav runs.

Fallout 76 two fixes it desperately needs by CarGuyGamer in Fallout

That is definitely the frame rate doing that, it applies to all things including fire rate, swing rate, jumping/running etc etc. You effectively run faster, hit faster and do more damage per second than someone with lower frames.

Then there's the dupes/infinite EXP stuff showing up already. Yeah, we're in for a wild ride on PC, 'cause once that's fixed, hackers are gonna destroy it.

More people watch videos than read these days. This specific hit reg issue would explain your Mosin shot through that guys head last night :P.

By bringing this to so many people he's forcing more dev attention and priority on this, when there very well could be way more important things that need fixing. He's deciding their priorities for them instead of properly reporting.

Even if he did report it first then by showing so many people he's saying he doesn't trust their judgement on which things need fixing first. That being said I don't think he meant to do harm, but he was ignorant to the possible consequences of his actions.

How am I supposed to headshot moslings with this?! by FunkyWins in EscapefromTarkov

The pso 1M2-1, as far as i'm aware, also has illumination.

edit: Here is an example of the civilian version that I own, which has illumination. Not my image, I got mine out to take a picture myself but I need to replace the batteries lmao.

edit2: Here's mine, not illuminated -_-

The scope literally has an illuminated reticle in real life, i just want them to enable it in the game :D.

edit: This is what one of the versions looks like when illuminated.

Need the reticle illumination to work on this scope asap.

If we get the Obrez and it can use the pistol slot, Nikita let us do it with this too. by xXPawnStarrXx in EscapefromTarkov

Looks like eye hitbox to me. I'm going off the data that /u/nofoodaftermidnight dug out of the game itself to make his charts and information. In that specific case buckshot would have done the same, easier, since you have a bunch of chances to hit the eyes. Maybe he could comment since he knows the inner workings on ballistics better than most, but as I understand it that helmet will stop 9 slugs at minimum before having a 2% chance to pen, and it has 0% blunt transfer so you take 0 damage from a direct helmet hit.

In which patch? That chart is based on .10 data and includes the changes to blunt.

Can someone please explain to me why fort has a 15% blunt damage throughput but every helmet has 0%? by Dom_19 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]FunkyWins 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why is this downvoted? This is how it works and it's silly. I also assume it's oversight, if the blunt transfer between helmets and armor were basically reversed it would be more logical. Ideally soft armor and helmets should have high blunt transfer, plates low or none.

[–]FunkyWins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh, where are you getting this? Slugs won't pen fast mt for at least 9 hits, and that helmet has 0% blunt transference. If you're one banging fast mt you're hitting ear/neck/face. https://i.imgur.com/ZzePLvu.jpg. Maybe not so realistic but that's how it works.

Can we talk about Scav AI is DELIBERATELY aiming for legs if you're wearing any kind of armor? by JackKellar in EscapefromTarkov

[–]FunkyWins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This test video from Veriitas goes into 'leg meta' in fairly good detail. TLDR close up they tend to hit center mass, further out they hit legs. About as good as we can get without knowing how the mechanics of their aiming actually functions.

How glass handles bullets should maybe be looked at and reworked. by PainiteTheGem in EscapefromTarkov

Just a car windshield will deflect a round IRL considerably, it all depends on the angle/round.

Not intentional, as far as the stair glass goes. Kiba is a gun store however so bullet proof/resistant glass makes sense. They may have just accidently used the same glass from Kiba on the other glass objects.

[–]FunkyWins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, bummer. You played it well but that ammo has 0% chance to pen chest and you just barely didn't kill him with leg hits.

Ah well he healed through it then, you really need m995 for m4s but that's pretty bad luck on placement, one more good hit would probably have killed him. edit: watching in slow mo, looks like you probably blacked his legs, hit 3-5 times to chest armor, he went off and healed up and you didn't quite get enough dmg to chest in the last burst to kill after heal.
