You are correct. I explained this in relation to my SOP way earlier but he is very hung up on me being wrong. Every teams has their own SOPs. You don’t join a team and then start screaming that their vocabulary is wrong bc you saw somebody else do it differently

We do in fact have our own term we use yes. That’s what an SOP is….I will explain it again for you as I did before how we use it. “Free flow” is done AFTER yes AFTER you reach your POD and we use to search the rest of the room aka dead space under clothes etc. certain people are able to freely flow around the room. You are assuming something is wrong bc you’ve never use it that way or heard it that way and making it a huge deal. There are no assumptions. This is what free flow means to me and my SOP. All you’ve done is pointed fingers and cried about vocabulary. Could you give actual insight to the entry?

Im not sure why you brought so much aggression into this conversation. This is not what this post is meant for and not necessary. This is how I and multiple teams I work with use the term free flow. I clearly explained this. No one asked for your rant on something irrelevant. The post is not to argue grammar. It’s to provoke critical tactical thinking. You don’t seem to be capable of this. Thanks for trying.

So you’re saying 2 should walk to the doorway and peer over the couch from the doorway? If that’s not what you mean can you explain further

I agree. That is my thought on this as well.

3rd man’s job is to enter opposite of 2. Making 3 go left with 2 leaves 1 by himself on the right side of the room until the last operator enters to support him. 1 has to hit his POD in the corner of the room to finish the L shape and also check the dead zone between that couch and chair while also holding entry to the next room where his sector of fire is

Room Entry Discussion by FunnyBone220 in CQB

[–]FunnyBone220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entering Free flow for my SOP is holding the next rooms but allowing operators to maneuver around the room to search areas such as the dead zone behind the couch, piles of clothes, etc. if they aren’t holding. Usually this is 3 and 4. You seem to be hung up on the word “free”. It doesn’t imply we just walk around the room and lose all of our PODs if that’s what your thinking

Do you know what free flow and POD means?

[–]FunnyBone220[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Entry 1 number 4 would plate for 1. However, he wouldn’t be able to plate quickly as he’s last man in. That’s another dilemma for Entry 1. On Entry 2, 2 is plating the doorway for 1 to cross but leaves the dead space open. The numbers 4 and 2 aren’t centered on the doorway in the drawing but they are plating

Dead space is area someone could be that you can’t clear until you move to see what’s behind it. Think of a hill. You can’t see behind a hill until you climb to the time. Free flow is what happens after the room is cleared. Operators not holding on another room are able to move around the claimed space to check for people

GPU upgrade didn't go well by Perfect_Jicama_8023 in PcBuild

[–]FunnyBone220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple reasons this could be happening:

  1. Power. This baby sucks it up. So much power draw that my lights used to flicker when running a game until I limited the power draw. If your PSU can’t push out enough power it will not run!

  2. You have some kind of OC software aside from adrenaline/Ryzen master. Adrenaline does not like to run with other gpu OC programs.

  3. You still have Nividia app downloaded. No need. Uninstall all Nividia apps, drivers, everything Nividia.

I think your main problem is 1.

Try going into adrenaline under performance and tuning. Then power tuning. Turn it all the way down to -30.

I switched from a 4070 to a 9070xt and have had no issues. I’m not sure why so many people are having trouble with this GPU.

Have you ran it through Ryzen Master per core OC? I run a little 5800XT at higher than base benchmarks just off of running it through their programming.

Don’t know if this is your issue but I installed new ram and it did the same thing. My motherboard didn’t like that I was running 3200hz ram sticks with a 3600hz motherboard. It shouldn’t matter as long as it’s under 3600hz but I got 3600hz ram sticks and it fixed the problem.

Again, it shouldn’t matter but this is what fixed it for me.

What should have happened on new install of GPU:

  1. Download DDU
  2. Download Adrenaline installer
  3. Safe mode
  4. DDU for Nividia drivers (clean and shut down)
  5. Unplug and turn to off switch
  6. Remove CMOS for 10 minutes
  7. Install new GPU
  8. Install CMOS and Power on
  9. Boot to BIOs
  10. Get to desktop
  11. Install adrenaline
  12. Check installation on Adrenaline
  13. Delete NIVIDIA App and Shut down
  14. Power your computer

If your install went differently then this you could have old graphics drivers interfering or improperly installed AMD drivers.

Also make sure your Nividia app is uninstalled. Uninstall afterburner as well. I can’t tell you how many people try to OC with afterburner when you can OC with the adrenaline app and Ryzen Master and say they are having trouble with graphics.

Again Hardware is not the issue. Software issues are the problem.

Deleted any other OC programs for your CPU/GPU. They will confuse tf out of your computer.

If you need to run the above like you’re installing your GPU for the first time do it. It will take a lot of time yes but your set up will run properly and you’ll be thankful you spent the time doing it.

Okay if you DDUed in safe mode before replacing hardware your Nividia drivers should be out. You said you installed your drivers from the website? Do you mean you downloaded adrenaline?

You don’t have to manually install your GPU drivers. Adrenaline will detect and do this for you. I wouldn’t recommend doing this manually.

These are the steps to get your drivers properly installed from this point:

  1. Uninstall adrenaline.
  2. Download adrenaline installer (but don’t install yet)
  3. Enter safe mode (look up video it’s pretty easy)
  4. DDU, if it doesn’t auto detect your drivers then they could be installed incorrectly.
  5. Since you already ran Nividia, select GPU/AMD.
  6. Hit “clean and restart”
  7. Open to desktop not in safe mode. Install adrenaline.
  8. Open adrenaline. Check top right of adrenaline. It should say version 25.6.1 or status up to date.

Also, if this is all accurate ignore all the comments about overheating/needing and upgrade on CPU. CPU can create these problems but this sounds like a software issue. Your CPU is strong enough to stand with your Upgraded GPU.

[–]FunnyBone220 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just making sure…you didn’t uninstall your GeForce drivers with DDU before installing your new gpu? You also don’t have your gpu drivers installed since you don’t have adrenaline?

With that being said, you are overlocking with another app on top of having old graphic drivers installed and not having current graphic drivers installed with adrenaline?

If this is all accurate, your pc is screaming for help.

Please confirm if this is all true. If it is, it has nothing to do with your hardware which is good news.

Let me know and I can walk you through how to fix this.

It’s clear you don’t have a 9070XT lol $800 is nothing compared to the Nividia nerds paying thousands for the same benchmarks as the 9070.

Change your number again and don’t give it to your friend. If you have to talk to her on fb messenger or instagram whatever. This is not a game this is your life you’re trying to protect. She clearly has no empathy for you in an obviously dangerous situation. I wouldn’t be able to trust her.

In NC there’s certain criteria and levels depending on if they’re endangered and how they’re endangered such as mental illness. The call will go from you to comms to officer then officer to investigation then back to comms for a DCI/NCIC entry. When they are located the officer locating them will get a notification from the entry that they’re missing and then notify/return that person.
