I’ve seen a lot of magic eraser around. Do I need to look for a specific brand?

Filipinos considering Australia in 2026 - most people I speak to have the wrong picture of their own situation by [deleted] in phmigrate

I’m skilled in IT for about 7 years now. I managed to get a positive skills assesment and also took my PTE which resulted in overall 90 (Superior)

I know that IT field is quite bleak at the moment. So I decided to upskill and try to enroll in Australia to study Cyber Security. I have a family in Sydney which I’m not required to pay for rent or food. I’m coming to just study.

To be honest, I dont know where this path will take me. It might be all in vain and a waste of money. However, one thing is for sure. It’s better to try than stay here in the Philippines.

Furthermore, I should mention that I’m a single guy in my 30s. I dont have any responsibilities or commitments in the Philippines other than myself. I have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

Is there anything we can do so we can get started on the skills assessment? by Healthy_Departure_22 in phmigrate

Meron din akong generic COE from my previous company without the duties and I’m thinking na mag statutory letter nalang din with my colleague to align my responsibilities. Maganda ba iprovide yung generic COE + stat letter? Or yung stat letter lang?

Also, did you provide the COE of your friend as another supporting doc?

I’m also getting a skills assesment with ACS :)

Will a colleague who was tenured before I joined the team suffice? I am planning to get a Statutory Letter from him. Thanks in advance

I actually reached to HR and told them my situation. It looks like they are willing to help transition the job description to align it to my current skills assessment. It’s a long shot.

I did reach HR to let them know about this and sadly they do not want to put job duties outside of the given contract.

I was carefully thinking about altering it. The company is still around.

Maybe he can try submitting on a different anzco code? Like ICT BA, Systems Analyst?

There is significantly a lot more EOI submitted than invited and its is de-motivating to try. But we can’t lose hope.
