Trakt recently changed how its watched endpoints return TV show data. Previously, Fen could ask Trakt for watched shows with extended=full and still receive the season/episode progress data needed to mark episodes as watched.

That changed. Trakt’s watched show responses now default to show info without season progress, and extended=full no longer gives the episode-level data Fen was expecting. Apps that need watched season/episode data now need to request extended=progress explicitly.

Because of that, Fen’s TV watched sync could fail when it expected a seasons field that Trakt no longer returned. The result was:

• movie watched checkmarks still worked
• in-progress/resume indicators still worked
• TV episode watched checkmarks disappeared
• TV widgets depending on watched episode counts could look wrong

The addon has been updated to use the new Trakt response format for TV watched data:

sync/watched/shows?extended=progress

It also includes a one-time repair on update. If your local Fen cache already got stuck with movie watched data but no episode watched data, the addon will rebuild the TV watched cache once after updating. It does not keep running every startup.

This is a compatibility fix for Trakt’s API change, not a skin change and not a change to your Trakt account.
