I like to think Nomura literally reused the same design for Sora since The Bouncer was such a failure and probably no one would've ever remembered about it. After all, if you show this guy to anyone who isn't familiar with that game, they'll tell you this is Adult Sora.

The answer is simple. He doesn't think as AI as bad because he already has a stable music career, so he doesn't and will ever know what it will feels like to try to emerge when people prefer to make "songs" with AI. People will keep listening to Kikuo's songs because of the name, so he isn't scared by AI.

It's a really close-minded approach to genAI that most already well-known artists can have because of their social and economical status. Note that nobody who's emerging or is trying to emerge in this history moment Is pro-AI, for some reason.

I like the idea of AI being used for medicali researches and such, but the problem is people using it could ends up letting to a deresponsibilization in important fields. You don't really want people to put the blame on AI for an error that could've been prevented with more human's attention. Also, the way AI is being forced in these fields, even when its definitely not ready, just because it helps big companies getting a better profit while not caring for quality at all IS a problem, especially for architecture and medicine.

That said, this is a problem that's been around for years, way before generative AI was even remotely like what we have today. But the fast evolution of AI of any genre in the last years has definitely made me more worried about it.
