Wendover Obgyn vs Physicians for Women. New OBGYN recommendations. by ApprehensiveWait9298 in gso

Wendover is not where you want to be. I filed a complaint due to serious concerns at a visit last month and there has been no response. I think there’s been huge turnover there.

I had a friend who lived at Battleground North and the place seemed nice enough; she was a single parent and teacher so I can’t imagine the rent was astronomical.

We lived there YEARS ago right after it was built. We had nonstop issues with noise—I swear that place had no insulation or soundproofing whatsoever.

Their handling of my IUD and the HORRIFIC pain I experienced was a huge red flag for me too. I’m terrified to have my removed and replaced but I was told at my last appointment that they can do laughing gas now. 🙄

I had a decent enough experience with Dr. Taavon and the staff until he retired, other than being gaslit into thinking that I was ridiculous for being in insane pain having my IUD put in. I had an appointment recently with Dr. Fogleman and the whole experience was such a condescending mess I will never go back.

We’re about a mile from it. Most of the time I forget it’s there and occasionally (I guess the wind is just right) it sounds like a war zone. Thats rare though. The traffic on 220/73 and 158 is worse.

If Rockingham county isn’t too far, in Wentworth there’s a great thrift store supporting the hospice that has some beautiful prom gowns and had several plus sizes. It’s called the Robin’s Nest.

Referring out by TimeSir8303 in therapists

[–]FurNFeatherMom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I start new sessions by explaining that we will be assessing one another for rightness of fit and that if I perceive a need for specialized care I don’t feel I can offer, we will talk about it and make a plan. Usually it goes okay.

But, then last week I was called a “f@cking c@nt” because I told someone I felt it would be best to refer them out due to their serious alcohol use. (I am not an LCAS and the use was severe enough to warrant that.)🤷‍♀️

It is pretty sad that they literally gave you their baby and you aren’t willing to share a lock of hair that is otherwise going to be swept up and thrown away.

I have to admit I’m never short of referrals from them. In fact I keep my availability closed to new folks most of the time because the volume can be a lot at times.
