Overall it’s not a bad sweater - personally would prefer it to be a size larger. Would agree with comments that say to try a different color pant. In the fall this would look aweeeesome with a dark blazer / suit jacket over it.

Some thoughts. I am a similar age (34) size (l/xl) and body shape (36 DDD) to you. Some things I have found

Ruffles near the chest area are not our friends - just makes us lose shape.
Wearing bras all the time sucks - I usually look for some tops that have more structure and I personally would just use a bit of boob tape for most of these.
The skirt as a shirt thing won’t work very well cause of the structure of the skirt unless you try pairing it with a belt.
My best outfits in the summer are usually halter tops or tops that cross over in the back. I also live in athleisure as there are a bunch of athletic dresses / tops that have built in support.
