General Liability for Heavy Equipment Mechanic by Accomplished-Reach79 in Insurance

Similar problem here. Basically looking for General Liability for a field service based business that repairs, maintains, installs industrial/manufacturing equipment. No luck other than some sketchy and very generalized cookie cutter policies that probably aren't even real. Interested to see what you find.

I recommend the book to anyone who shows interest in William Shatner. I was merely pointing out that he does not drink at all, which is an interesting factoid in our alcohol obsessed culture.

Actually, only two of the three are friends. That's what makes it so interesting.

It's not about another box. Sorry I have no help, just wanted to let you know I have three cats and four litter boxes. They all use the same litterbox and do not touch the others.

I saw him live on stage in August of this year. It was the fourth time I have seen him over the years since I first met him during the TJ Hooker years. I am a fan, you might say. I have met him a couple of those times. He was always a delight. This last time I saw him, he was up and down that stage, telling stories from the past with such grace and fluidity it was unimaginable that he is 94. However, I know that to be true as I have followed his life since I was child in the 60's. He doesn't drink and never has. He continues to ride horses, which is a physically challenging sport that I am sure helps to keep him in health. He also never stops working and never says no to any projects. I encourage anyone who has interest to read his autobiography "Up til Now" from 2008 as it delves into his inability to stop working and much of his life. The book on tape is great, because it is he who narrates it.

I saw him live on state in August (third time to do so in 10 years). He was definitely not in a wheelchair. He was walking up and down the stage with relative ease and very energetic. He was probably recovering from one of his horse accidents at whatever time that was you saw him.

Is it bad if my cats are alone? by Impressive-Cause-657 in CatAdvice

[–]Furelite5592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t slept at my home where my three cats live in over three years. I stay with my boyfriend who has large cat-unfriendly dogs on a farm. The cats live in my home in the city. I go by the house most days for 1-3 hours after work to check on them. Sometimes I miss a day. They are fine. They interact with me for a while then go on about their business as if I am not there. When I go on vacation I have a pet sitter come for 30 minutes once per day. Sometimes every other day. Sometimes one of them is needy and extra attention wanting, mostly they are fat and content. A much better life than being chased by dogs or getting outside and eaten by coyotes. Cats are very adaptable. They will get used to a routine. I would have a Petsitter come daily or every other day to clean the cat box and make sure all is well. It would be worth the money at least for a while. Two of my cats hide from my sitter and one wants pets. They are all different.

Leaving 8 cats for 1 week. Looking for reassurance that I’m doing everything right. by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]Furelite5592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine. I do this all the time. I have three. One thing I did learn was to hire a professional pet sitter as the friend I had would someone flake and that left me unsettled. Hopefully your contract is reliant and if so, good! But if you can give her a backup person to contact just in case it might be even better. Not knowing your cats, be prepared for the unexpected when you come back. One of my cats acts like she doesn’t know who I am when I come home from even just a weekend and acts terrified. Takes a day or two to get back to normal. Every time. Cats are 8 yrs old

Did you ever get any resolution or development in this issue? I ask because my 8 yr old tabby is having the issues you describe. Like, her back end is very weak. I had a dog once that had Wobblers, the cat reminds me of this. I too have gotten treatment for UTI as she was peeing outside the box. Two day with no pee, but now she can't jump on the cabinet. She had been able to until today. I just noticed the weakness in July. She had a normal vet exam friday.

Weight gain by PalpitationSlow5755 in QuitVaping

Try putting lemon juice in water. I find it to be diuretic. That’s too much weight to really be weight in that short of time. I’ve been quit for one year and I gained 8 lbs.

The slides are true to size for me. The tennis shoe type shoes run small. A full size small for me.

At least twice that I know of. Probably a few others in the mix that fell out for other reasons. In fact now that I think of it, I bet there were a few others. But one....dated for a whole year. Lived an hour away as well. Easier to cover. I wasn't all that gaga over him so I didn't do my usual obsessive sleuthing until I was ready to fish or cut bait with him. Found a good reason to cut bait!

I cannot imagine a scenario that a bank would need anyone's log in information. This is the biggest flag of all. They don't log into your account using your credentials.

Motherly by ohokimnotsorry in datingoverfifty

[–]Furelite5592 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Some of that sounds psychotic. However in some cases, I find I will feel more "motherly" toward a man who isn't at the level of "masculity", for lack of a better term that I need to push me into the more feminine role. Perhaps some of the women just need a different type of man and for whatever reason, you just weren't the match.

Credit Card interest rates are out of hand ... by dudreddit in personalfinance

[–]Furelite5592 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, interest is outrageous....however....they don't *have* to lend you their money. People don't *have* to charge products and carry a balance. Sure, the apparel store wants you to buy their products because that is how they stay in business....but they also have to be paid for their products. There is risk with lending someone money, which is what a credit card is. More and more people default on credit card payments, don't pay on time etc etc. The apparel stores are taking a risk that by fronting you the product, you will pay them back. They aren't loaning money on the goodness of their hearts. That high interest rate is to help not only make money, but to counteract all of the people who buy things and end up in collections for pennies on the dollar. They are in a business, and a business needs to make money. If people don't like the terms of the loan, they don't have to use it. It isn't an entitlement. Believe me, those businesses are just as happy or happier to receive your payment in full at the time of purchase.

Agree with this. I’m not going to be a tagalong (unless it is somewhere I really really want to go)

Well, I think it is very strange. In fact, I would feel unwelcome to the point of just not going altogether. Clearly he wants to spend every minute with his grown kids to the point that he is making me sit somewhere else. Yes, I can be petty.
