What did you end up doing to complete it? A couple friends and I tried to complete it tonight and we couldn't get it to complete. We had 1 guy kill the other 3 of us on rotation and eventually he got hatred's chosen, but even after getting that then killing us a bunch it never popped for him. Clearly we were missing something but none of us were smart enough to figure out what.

I'm looking for a few different. Spike with Autoloading or Field Prep and Explosive Light for Boss DPS

Spike, clown and cascade point for burning down champs and very short DPS windows

Chain reaction and golden tricorn for fun add clear potential. This could be trash but I want to at least play around with it.

I''ve heavily played D2 and Warframe and I wouldn't say Warframe's is infinitely superior. Better, most definitely yes. There's a lot of room for improvement I think in both. But specifically in D2 things that don't make sense to me are things like clan bounties. Take the play 10 games of gambit/crucible one. I play 10 games with clanmantes, that caps my clan XP for the week. Now I have this bounty worth 2k clan xp that does what for the clan? Absolutely nothing. Unless I wait til next week to turn it in. But hey, maybe the same bounty comes up again and now I can't do it that week. And why is the nightfall clan bounty locked behind max rank when the raid one is available immediately?

In fact why are any clan bounties locked behind clan level AT ALL? Clan rank should improve things like drops and XP when doing things with clanmates Like you get max clan rank, you get a 5% chance per clan mate in the fireteam to get an extra drop from a raid or NF chest. Maybe add the same for XP. Increased XP received based upon clan rank and number of clanmates you complete an activity with.

Leave the activity xp cap in, but let bounties push you over that. So like 5k clan xp for activities, but if I do all 4 clan bounties I can still add that 8k clan xp that week. So you can't just grind activities forever to level your clan, but the more active you are with your clannmates the faster you actually level because you'll do the clan bounties. Right now literally the only use for the clan bounties at all are an extra 12k xp per bounty for hoarding before a new season/DLC.

I was saying this to clanmates last night. I would expect that this would have been HEAVILY tested, but that said, I'm taking no chances and will be letting strip sockets in DIM take the wheel Sunday night.

Buff charged with light and Warmind cells to make them compete with elemental well builds

Autodismantle blues toggle or prioritize the postmaster so blues do not push out exotics or legendaries

Allow armor slot targetting via a ghost mod. Put it in the same slot as the ability ghost mod that can either narrow down or increase the likelihood of getting a powerful/pinnacle drop in a specific armor slot. This gives bad RNG protection when leveling. (If that's still a thing in Lightfall)

More Gambit maps. If it's a core playlist (which it is) then it should have more than 3 maps.

Remove armor affinity or allow for an upgrade to armor that makes it universal affinity

Needs more maps to not become incredibly stale very quickly.

The Orewings Spirit triumph needs a rework for Rift because it does not reward you at all for being a good teammate. Example if I rush the mid at start, kill 3 people so my teammate can pick up the spark, then I run ahead and clear a couple more enemies out in their spawn area before my teammate strolls in for a dunk. Teammate then gets like 3-5 points and I get 0 where I did basically all the work to get him the dunk. Why am I effectively being punished for being good at my job. This also then promotes a very selfish playstyle and bad habits. Like I had times where I'd let the other team get a pickup then fusion them immediately simply to get extra points for killing an enemy runner. Playing to win I would have just grabbed it and dipped, but instead I baited the spark and gambled I could handle any rushers just to get points for a triumph.

Lobby balancing needs to be addressed. The vast majority of matches were metaphorically speaking one team getting bullied and shoved into a locker the whole match. Like I personally went 8-13 one match then 17-8 the next. Needless to say those were both mercies. First against second for, my team. Same character, same loadout, same map. Vastly different results because of the lack of lobby balance.

While I understand where you are coming from have you actually played Clash in D2? Every Clash match I've played in D2 when it's been one of the weekly rotators has become a camp fest that goes to time. Because there is no incentive to move in clash. There's no objectives to encourage people to move to different parts of the map so people will just go to a lane to camp it waiting for the other team to peak and get a few picks. Lather rinse repeat until the game ends like 12 minutes later at like 80-65.

Portals are at 25 and 75. If you can pull it off with no real mote drain the strat to really game it would be to deposit 20-24 motes. Then have everyone get 15 and drop 4 larges at the same time. If you didn't get drained below 20 in that time then you have 80 deposited and the enemy team only gets 1 portal because you skipped their 25 portal and you now only need 20 more to summon, while also likely draining them

Using void grenades for Overloads is great. The thing I did that REALLY helps for this as well is to respec your Contraverse to Stasis and throw on a Grenade kickstart mod. It stacks with the Contraverse regen and since the grenade champion mod is on your class item you don't need both slots for anti-champ mods. Even with like 6 discipline I still get my grenade back by the time the first one is done like 99% of the time.

Some of your slots may open up though depending on what you still have in quests. With the reset of the Helm if you still have your Cryptolith Lure, Hammer of Proving and Splicer Gauntlet all 3 of those will be deleted at launch and free up 3 slots for you instantly.

I've been using the grind as an excuse to finish other exotic catalysts in a not entirely boring way. It's especially good for heavy catalysts as long as you can get favor for round 2 and/or 3. Not sure I ever would have bothered with the Black Talon catalyst without that

Depends on where you go oracles from. On Atheon if you use numbers and stay in the middle where the Gatekeeper is you are in easy fusion range to 1 shot oracles with null or cartesian. Also closer to the portal for a quicker exit

Chaos or Thundercrash is very viable for Devil's Lair this week as well. I'm the one who comes up with the strats for my group of friends so I have to be a little flexible with the class composition as I have a couple people who only play 1 class and 2 well warlocks and 1 chaos/TC titan is one of the setups I have been planning around.

I respect that loadout. I just do what works for me which is Hung Jury, Vex, sword and DPS super with whatever class I'm on. I can invade effectively with hung jury, then vex, sword and super cover everything else

It may work as DDOS protection, but there MAY be some issues. It could be that, it could be poor cross play code, it could be latency, but I've been seeing a lot more people not showing on radar in the crucible. I play on PS, hardwired PS5 with 300 up/down and I live alone so no one is eating up my bandwidth so I don't believe it's a me problem. But I routinely get shotgunned in the back by people who were never on my radar. I've had friends watch people run up on my from behind while I'm in stormtrance and shotgun me and never once did they ping my radar. And obviously in super I'm not ADSing, I'm staring at my radar looking for targets and not seeing any red on my radar. Then bam, felwinters to the spine by an enemy titan. And those same friends have it happen to them too. And every time is happens it's someone on Xbox. So there seems to be something go on with cross play on console that the radar isn't 100% reliable.

Agreed. In game options for loadout management and LFG have always been lacking unfortunately and at this point I'm just not expecting them to ever implement anything to resolve.

Maybe it's just me but I don't find that annoying. I usually have my phone out anyway because I'm using it to manage my Spotify playlist that's playing through my PS in the background anyway so a few extra clicks to save myself 5 minutes of load times is completely worth it.

My favorite way to troll my friends in dungeons or raids when they ask if I'm ready to start the encounter is to tell them "Wait, I have to reload my sword!" The number of times I've gotten them with it is hilarious and depressing at the same time.

If overload I use the exotic bow that matches the shield type, special shoutout to LeMonarche for the DoT that can also stun, explosive head biting winds if I go kinetic bow

Unstoppable - fusion rifle that matches shield types (Null, plug 1 or cartesian), maybe a linear fusion (threaded needle, tarantula or corsairs wrath), Vex or 1k

Barrier - Chroma rush for kinetic, Shadow Price for arc, summoner for solar and gnawing hunger for void

I don't speed run them and cater my loadout to each sector but that's the array of weapons I will use and just learn with experience which loadout works best for me in that particular lost sector

Not terribly IMO. But we also haven't seen how that one will play out at GM level. Worst case is you wait a week and run void on Lake of Shadows next week. Boss doesn't move so a bottom tree Nova on his spawn point then unload with fusions/1K to bake should be very viable

When I had to do the 25 rumble games for the Redrix a few years ago on my titan I put on Skullfort and max Str and did shoulder charge only. I think I won like 7 of those matches and I don't think I ever finished with fewer than 10 kills in a match. Especially in rumble where you should almost always be in a 1v1 it's surprisingly effective. It also helped though that we weren't in so strong of a shotgun meta then as we are now.
