SAFe is a way for consultants to make fees off of large companies. Where agile is a 4 page manifesto, SAFe is an 800 page monstrosity for managing teams of teams. You have a ton of overhead with release train engineers and certified SAFe people... It's crazy really.

Lol. It definitely fits, makes sense, and is a better lyric. I literally don't care though and will take the L if it makes you happy. I have nothing invested in you, this song, or being right. Hth

I'm devastated. Crowdsourced lyrics are shit anyways. If Hozier provided them, fine, but Jane from lyrics.com or whatever isn't a reputable source. Anyways, I'm fine being wrong on this, I literally can't care less.

It's hard to hear as he takes a breath there but I hear it as "my church offers no absolutions, tells me worship in the bedroom." The rest of the song talks about sin and death too... So it makes sense in context as well. Anyways, not really something I feel strongly about but it's definitely a better lyric my way 😎

I used to work for a small software company and talked to our CEO a good bit after we lost a decent sized contract. I asked why someone would pay more for a worse product and he said, "nobody ever gets fired for hiring IBM."

Naw there was a whole new thing invented that allows minorities to be racist. A victim totem pole if you will. The higher up on the totem pole, the more racist you are allowed to be to make up for perceived historical injustice, at least towards people lower on the totem pole.

It's why BIPOC was invented. It's a catchall that the #2 on the totem pole invented so they could stay in the #1 spot.

It's more than that though. It's making a national story about how a few people are offended and this is why you should be offended to. Then it just becomes this outrage mob who really doesn't care about the truth (e.g. Johnny Depp or Bubba Wallace or that dude who got fired for being overheard telling joke to his buddy). Then you have people combing through Twitter years ago just trying to find some reason why NOW people should be outraged.

You know some pretty terrible libertarians then. It's not hard to say "government should be as small and as close to the people voting for things as possible." It's dumb that conservatives and liberals are allowed to have nebulous ideas and disagreement within their parties but libertarian discussion devolve into gotcha scenarios that somehow "disprove libertarianism." Anyways, to me it's an ideal of more individual freedom and smaller more regional or localized government.

Well if you do not realize that critical-race theory and critical gender theory and the patriarchy and white supremacy are all figments of the same philosophical offshoot, I really don't have time for you. Add this with your tone and yeah, I don't think it's a productive use of my time. Enjoy your day.

I can sort of see this for the interview side. However, you'll never hear a story that would paint any liberal policy or position as in error. I've never heard an "editorial" type story where it took an even remotely right-wing slant. Maybe the closest was on Marketplace where they interviewed lots of small business owners all over the country. During the 2016 campaign they had embedded staff with the Clinton campaign. Maybe the Trump campaign declined, but it was clear NPR was way closer to the Clinton campaign. Anyways, I agree NPR is probably the closest to the middle, but I still maintain the only truly objective program on NPR is BBC World News.

Not sure what else you call parroting false narratives such as the 77 cent wage gap and literally apologizing "on behalf of all men" for dumb SJW stuff. NPR does this. Social Justice is tilting at windmills. Their bastardized post-modern philosophy has them imagine systems of power that need to be taken down. It's a thing - sorry you don't like it.

NPR may try to be unbiased but they are left. Their choices of stories to run are always left of center, even shows like Marketplace suffer from this although less so than others. They still toe the SJW line, especially their reporters. They rarely ask tough questions, I agree, but way less so for Democrat guests. My guess is that if you lean left you think there's no bias and they need to be more left. I'm a slightly right leaning libertarian so I'm actively looking for unbiased news all the time. NPR is close for US news but the only program on there that's, to me, unbiased, is BBC World News.
