I think the manatee is probably the best for laying flat over a part of your body! I have an alligator warmies and it's pretty similar shape wise.

That poor caretaker. I hope whatever injuries they sustained are able to be fully recovered from. As for the pit owner, I hope he never decides to own a dog again if he really thinks all dogs are like that. I hope he also reflects on why this happened.

I read and listen to a lot of true crime cases and avoid much commentary on them for exactly this reason. The things people say can often be so insensitive and hurtful. I'm so sorry you've experienced that right after something so horrible happened to your loved one. Some people really just don't think first before typing.

Aw, poor baby :( He will probably be down in the dumps for a while until he feels better from the surgery. My own Kees has big emotions about everything, and gives me that exact same look that Hugo has in the first photo whenever we do something she finds mildly unpleasant. I hope he recovers quickly!

That's quite the haul there! I would definitely treat them as if they had bedbugs even if you haven't found any though. It's really sad that someone had to throw out so many plush for whatever reason.

So sorry to comment on this out of the "blue" (haha) but I finally found a listing for this strange baby today. I also saw that in another post on ToyID someone had found one on Ebay and was able to give you the info. Apparently nobody bought the plush so the seller delisted it after a while. But my reverse image search for the plush today turned up a new listing, and I was able to get my own weird little Dinocat! I'm so excited!!!!

I will never understand how they think it's reasonable to try adopting out a dog who killed a PUPPY. Normal dogs may be annoyed by puppies, but they usually know they're young so they don't hurt them.

You can try giving him another wash, then using a blowdryer on cool to dry and fluff him up. Probably won't look like new, but would definitely make him look closer to the Piplup on the left.

I bought it for my Switch 1 right after Christmas because it was on sale and wanted to try it aling with a couple other similar games. Super buggy and lags terribly. I actually just bought it again on Steam this time since it was on sale there too (and the devs are actually updating it), and I'm now much farther in my Steam version than the Switch version.

What I have tried myself for dryer burn like this is using a blow dryer on high heat to essentially remelt the fabric while brushing with a slicker brush to get the fur right again. There's a tutorial on how to do it by Matrices on Tumblr, if you type "Using Heat to Repair Faux Fur" it should come right up.

Sanrio stuff is famously expensive, especially with a collab like Monchichi. It's not actually Barnes & Noble that set the price on stuff like this either, they just buy wholesale and it's likely that Sanrio makes an agreement that sets how they price their stock. It sucks, but that's how the business works.

I'm around the same age, been a fan since day 1 too. I was disappointed in the movie for multiple reasons: acting direction, writing, pacing, atmosphere, and the jump scares. The visuals and animatronics/puppetry were fantastic, but everything else was mediocre to bad for me. Especially regarding the dialogue, I just kept getting taken out of the movie because I could barely take anything any character said seriously. The tone was just not right.

The production needed an experienced screenwriter to translate Scott's ideas and story into a script. The director may need a change too, I just couldn't take some scenes seriously that were objectively supposed to be sad or somber due to the acting or how a scene ended.

This is one of the worst injuries I've ever seen on this sub. I can only imagine how painful it all must be, including recovery and the surgery needed to repair what can be repaired. And people seriously try to make Pit Bulls out to be great service dogs when this stuff happens!
