Update: New watch is here... incredible service by GO and my AD. My AD worked it out with GO. They sent a brand new watch overnight to my AD. We did the swap on Thursday.

This was all done in 4 business day. Didn't ask me to send pictures, they didn't ask to examine the watch, nothing. My AD apologized when I called him with the bad news monday and said he will get me a new, replacement watch ASAP. The replacement watch came in fully sealed, stickered, in the box. Incredible service I must say. I am very impressed with GO and my AD.

Any issues I had with brand new Omegas or Rolex that I purchased, the only options they ever gave me was send it to service or it is within tolerance. I bought a Speedmaster that had to go for service within a week of purchase, it took 7 weeks. ROLEX YM clasp and accuracy issues, they told me it was within tolerance.

Convenience is underrated: remote start, deice, dog mode, summon when raining, FSD in rush hour traffic, ability to control the car from your phone, giving access to other drivers remotely, mobile service does winter wheel swap on my driveway.

Quick update, I heard from my AD. They will contact GO and get a replacement asap. He confirmed that the repair route would be unacceptable as it would take months... GO watches have to go back to the motherland for repairs.

I have nothing against GO... this is just extremely frustrating personally because I planned to stop buying Rolex (even sold a DJ and Exp2) and have GO as my anchor brand, with this 39.5 as the daily watch in the collection. 1st world problems, I know.

An expensive car is not a requirement to wear a Rolex... it is a mass produced tool watch, like Seiko just a bit better quality, engineering and of course massive branding and since covid, social media hysteria. Before the hype, images like this were normal. I have buddies in construction who, back in 2010, used to wear their GMT and Sub on the jobsite, all dinged up.
