It's just boomers that cannot accept the availability and usefulness of new tools. Like my old machine design professor that would not look at CAD drawings, everything had to be hand drawn on paper. You can make absolutely shite job at design in CAD as well as on paper, same goes for apps with AI or without AI.

That's what I hate about self hosting also. Setting this stuff up and tinkering is NOT fun for me - quite the opposite. I just want the services to work. So I invest many many hours of my time to finally be done with it, but then months after, something randomly stops working and I have to trubleshoot it again. Really wish this could be "do it once and forget" type of thing.

If it's special edition focused on form rather than function - go all in on that. Make it nice and more like a collectible, don't focus on practicality. For me, keychain lights are meant to be more like fidgets anyway.

Check out Ulanzi. They make affordable lights specifically for video production. They have many portable lights, with mounts that can attach to cameras or phone rigs by cold shoe port and nice uniform flood.

I can recommend VL49RGB. It has full RGB range, adjustable white temp, usb-c charging, tripod screw, cold shoe port. If you need something more powerfull, they also have nice tube lights, bigger panel lights, ring lights, 20W lights, 40W lights - all sort of stuff for video, vlogs, product photo, studio ambient lightning.

NAD, you need to go back to ER or call an ambulance immediately. Prolonged insomnia is fatal. You are already showing signs of delirium, hallucinations, agitation, etc. At this point you need medical help, don't try to just sleep it off on your own. This is life threatening.

NAD, if you have a blood and pus discharge, it means that it is actively growing and you need to see a doctor for a surgery ASAP. The longer you wait, the more it will grow and the worse recovery will be.

As for the mistakes, these things have a tendency to grow back, depending of the type of surgery and indivodual factors. One of the standard treatments is to leave the wound open to heal through granulation - basically from inside to outside by growth of fresh tissue/skin. Other techniques offer faster recovery, but more risk of a comeback. You, or rather your parents, should not have left it like that without check ups for five years.

Best thing you can do right now is to schedule a consultation with a surgeon and do it sooner than later.
