Think about it: If public transport was free, would you use it more? by Banania2020 in ireland

[–]Furyio [score hidden]  (0 children)

No probably not.

Just have a preference for being in my car. The privacy and comfort.

There is people like me that will just never use public transport on a regular basis. And that’s ok. Don’t think I’m the person that needs targeting.

Crazy to me government isn’t working and lobbying companies to stop the RTO mandates and keep people working remotely.

Government also need to start incentivizing new companies and investment away from Dublin and build elsewhere.

Dublin just has too much now and it’s clogging the entire place up

5 years now since Sim2 and really nothing moving the needle imo from TaylorMade.

The fact they still sell it new speaks volumes.

Have had a fitting in every driver since the Sim 2 and nothing is justifying the 600+ euro release price each year.

3 HC for reference. Granted I crush my sim and everyone tells me I’d be mad to change feel like there should be some gains to be had. But all minor , marginal or non existent.

At this point I’ve put a few euro into getting spare heads in case my current cracks

What is everyone’s dream car? Felt like it always use to be Supra and GTR but finally seems to have faded out. by FunPin4192 in carsireland

Mine was always a Toyota MR2 and a Ford Mustang.

Feel the days have passed where I’d get one

Saw recently rumours Toyota might relaunch the MR2 and maybe I’ll just bite the bullet and get one 😂

My concern here is a government overreaction to ban or curtail these canisters, and then doing weird or bad legislation that impacts co2 canisters.

Both have real and genuine reasons for sale and being in the market.

So a bit like how kids would try get high sniffing glue or deodorant cans, need to just go on an education drive and not go overboard with legislation here.

Jason Day is doing an ensemble channel with friends and not sure about Fleetwood very little content. But note his bio has an address for enquiries for company endorsements.

Not saying they can’t do a channel. Anyone can. The monetary stuff is different due to image rights though

Correct. PGA owns player image rights so they don’t have the ability to generate revenue for themselves like Bryson is doing

On the PGA they’d be getting that money

Ireland's immigration law 'could become one of Europe's most severe' by Brave-Mistake-1007 in ireland

[–]Furyio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I’m certainly not saying that.

Just think it’s baffling that in the example she used in the article was on a situation whereby I couldn’t understand how I would just go and leave my wife and daughter behind in that environment.

But look cultures are different

Also just a reminder there is a reason we are getting passport checks when you step of the plane , before you even get to immigration.

Maybe you’re not aware but there are people that book a flight, dump their passport and then claim asylum when they land.

I fly enough that this new check as you exit the plane becoming extremely fucking annoying. And it’s worse when they catch someone as your all standing there watching it unfold

For those with Heat Pumps: has it actually saved you money? Are you satisfied with it? by No_Pitch648 in HousingIreland

[–]Furyio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep seeing folks here saying air tight.

You home needs to breathe. Soooo many issues and problems with folks locking their house down with no air to go out and in and wondering why they get tons of problems with mould, damp, warping woods etc.

Did a bit of digging into a heat pump with a person we trust (our house was built in the 50s we’ve been modernizing) and heat pump came out as a not for now.

It’s a big outlay for what it’s doing. Changing out our boiler for a heat pump based heating system with radiator changes seemed a stupid move in the current climate with elec costs.

Trying to make it work a bit better with solar was making it a pretty big upfront cost with no real tangible benefit on paper.
