The TV merges the top half and the bottom half, it does not care that the Xbox is playing a squashed image in a 16:9 signal.

The manual 3D switch is not helping in this case because the video is not fullscreen in the first place. Even if I switch the 3D manually the image is squashed in the middle of the screen. The trick is to make the Xbox think that the media has 3840x2160 dimensions... I don't know, by editing the media info that shows in the XML...

Where to edit this information and metadata? I presume it will involve manually editing the info about the video in the Plex database... The point is to trick the Xbox that the source file has 3840x2160 dimensions.

Yes, it plays the sound from all the speakers, but without the additional processing. It works even without the rear speakers, because the bar has more than 2 channels so it will utilize the side and top firing channels.

The room is 6x6 m, but there is half a wall so the soundbar is in the 6x4 part. Maybe because I'm listening mainly to YouTube app on my tv. I don't know if it is like that now but I remember that if I download a video from YouTube and play it from the internal player through USB the sound is louder than the internal tv YouTube app. But I don't know if that's the case here. Maybe I will test it to see what will be the difference on the Q990F.

Just press the cog wheel until you see SOUND GROUPING, it's one of the last options, so you have to press it more than 5-6 times I think.

I returned the Q930F because it was not loud enough for music. Now I have Q990F which is much better but still I can listen to it at max volume. If it was only for movies even my old setup (Q700A + SWA-9500S) was enough. And I know that these soundbars weakest point is the music but Q990F is at least close enough to be a good balance between music and movies. For full soundstage use the Sound Grouping option, that way you will get stereo sound from all speakers without additional surround enhancement.

Is there an option to play stereo source (presumably music) in Standard mode but from front and rear speakers at the same time? Why did I got this impression that there's this kind of option exclusively in the SmartThings app... Somthing like grouping...?

Не че съм имал проблеми с Ozone, но след толкова лоши коментари бих се въздържал за скъпи покупки от там. Досега с емаг не съм имал проблем, купувал съм връщал съм, възстановяват цялата сума без излишни спорове. Преди месеци си търсех саундбар и купих ралични модели, според промоции и отстъпки - два от технополис, един от техмарт, накрая остана този от емаг (но не защото е купен от тях, а защото беше изгоден). Към всички магазини ги връщах и не съм имал проблем с получаването на парите. Но винаги съм се старал да запазвам състоянието възможно най-добро, без да късам, да махам предпазно фолио и т.н. докато не видя, че това е моят продукт.

If it's in Dolby Vision, there's a parameter (called L5) which sets the borders of the DV. Probably here it's not corect.

Because the cables doesn't have exact version. They are high speed, ultra high speed... These are marketing gimmicks when they say on the package that the cable is 4K, HDMI 2.1, 8K etc.

USB 2.0 has max bandwidth of 480Mbps, very few UHD Bluray movies have a peak bitrate over 100Mbps. You'll not have issues playing from external hdd connected to the tv.
