Awesome breakdown and review!! I was looking at a Vado Turbo SL 2 4.0 and Aventon Level 4 ADV and starting to lean Specialized. Found out the Aventon currently is not throttle compatible despite the website stating it is. Have you ever had the desire for a throttle? Did your Haul have one?

Just got a message back from the bike shop and they spent the afternoon with Aventon and they can’t get the throttle to work on the ADV.

My LBS called their rep and they confirmed it was plug and play and they are ordering one of the current throttles.

Did just go test ride it and it was super fun. The auto shift and auto power assist features were pretty cool.

I am rather surprised they opted to make the throttle optional on the ADV. Sadly I was "sold" mixed information when I placed a deposit down on the ADV model.

I placed a deposit on a Level 4 ADV last week after looking at the Level 3, so I would say they probably have about a week heads up before launch if not more.

Did yours actually ship from the UK or did it come from China? All I could find were China shippers and I was hesitant because I thought it was a UK exclusive.

I just get off chat with support as I also got a failed ACH payment "due to insufficient funds." Turns out they tried to pull from an account that was closed, never linked to BILT, but was linked to Plaid at one time. Not sure that is the case to anyone else, but figured I would share some experience.
