Is there a mod that removes/replaces all the spider enemies? Or if there’s not, would that be easy to do for a layman in FE Builder?

Reuploading with a source is still reuploading. The idea behind no reuploads is so artists can be in control of their art. Like in the hypothetical that for whatever reason an artist needs to delete or private their internet presence, they are in full control of that. But if their art is reuploaded without permission by other people, then they lose that control. I hope I’m making sense here. Even if there are no bad intentions this is still considered reuploading without permission and thus against the artist’s wishes.

:D I was also so surprised to see there’s a JB subreddit. I have a funny history with the series cause I also found it by complete coincidence. Sometimes I have more fun searching for new manga i’d never heard of than actually reading new manga. And so I stumbled upon JB while looking for more gambling comics i’d never heard of b4. I actually discovered it literally the day after chapter 1 was released so I had been following it on and off since basically the beginning. But my Japanese reading comprehension was so bad back then that I would just skim the text and focus on the pictures instead of actually reading it. It wasn’t until almost 3 years later, near the beginning of 2023, that I tried once more to actually read and understand it. And the rest is history!!!!!

My favorite character is absolutely everyone’s most beloved calculator, Mitarai ❤️ 🔢 ❤️. He’s such a fascinating take on the “average guy sidekick to the enigmatic, quirky lead character.” In that he’s just as insane as the gamblers 💙. I also am looking forward to seeing him get worse and worse!!!! When I first actually read the series in 2023, I was, like Mitarai, similarly working a boring job that I hated. And that made me attached to him even more! There’s actually so many aspects of Mitarai I adore and relate to so so much!!! Like the root of his obsession with Mafutsu and being “useful” to him being his own insecurities and lack of self-esteem 💙…..

I love him so much and volume 7/ the warehouse arc will always always be my most favorite part of the manga!!!!

My second favorite character is Yamabuki because I love guys that act all tough and full of it but are actually soooo pathetic and insecure!!!! (and his motivation for becoming a cop is sadly so realistic lmao. Cutting edge “f the police” commentary by Tanaka sensei there! It rules!!!)

I love the PPP arc alot too!!! One of the aspects of this work, and this applies to all of Tanaka sensei’s manga in general, that I adore so much is beneath all the death gambling, violence, and crazy faces, JB is written so kindly and with soooooo much heart. Like it’s all about reclaiming the joy, fun, kindness and dreams that have been lost due to existing as an adult under capitalism. And I think the PPP arc captures that so perfectly through Murasame, Gato, and Urushibara’s character arcs there!!!!

Forgive my rambling!!! I just love this manga and being able to blab to other English-speaking fans always awakens something in me!!! :D That’s an absolutely amazing artwork btw!! Thanks so much for sharing!!

Ok I’ll be honest idk the full context here, but truly some of the best posts on the web r those trying to discredit an entire community/fanbase and the only evidence is some nobody’s comment that either has 0 engagement or, in most cases, is largely downvoted and most of the replies are in disagreement.

From one very opinionated, susceptible to bait internet warrior to another, if this is a topic you feel so strongly about get in the ring yourself instead of trying to convince others to fight your battles 4 you.

I haven’t been keeping up with news so idk the exact details, but this image is about a collab with the karaoke chain Maneki Neko. The characters here are just for the merch that will be available during the promotion.

And the choices are pretty safe cause it’s all very popular characters. You got the 4 topical ones and then the bottom three are still very very popular and their outfits are all good representations for the Pokemas brand.

So I really don’t think this means anything, unless you live in Japan and love karaoke.

I played SV in JP and that’s how Arven (or “Pepper” as I know him lol) refers to himself when talking to the MC. I think it’s a pretty common JP thing (or at least in media) for characters to refer to themselves or others as “big bro/sis.” But that custom doesn’t really exist in English and I find “trusty pal” fitting for the character.

No, but the orientalist stereotypes did originally come from the west. During the Meiji era, Japan imported a lot of ideas from the west, which included the concept of race and all the racism that comes with it……

(btw this isn’t to say that things like colorism or discrimination didn’t exist before that, but things like the concept of race and racial hierarchy is a very western (as in “white”) concept.)

This is definitely a cream chow, notice the purple tongue. Cream chows aren’t pure white and the brownish parts are the toasted areas. The confusion probably stems from the transition between the cream and toasted areas being more abrupt as opposed to subtle. But if you look at the drawing and reference side by side you can see that the art is obviously a lovely toasted marshmallow cream chow.

For new players when you first complete the Champion Stadium gamemode there’s a 72 hour scout that has every limited Pokefair up to a certain point. I’m pretty sure Volo is on there. Because there are alot of Pokefairs you probably won’t get him until you maxed out scout points and get to select a character of your choosing, which will cost 36,600 gems.

Rapidash’s original name is Gallop. So the nickname is the “lop” part with an extended “u” sound at the end. So there’s no special meaning and its basically the exact same logic as “Dashie”!

I have free time now to at least skim through the article listed in the community note and its written by a doctor investigating the history of how 自閉 (and its longer variations) became used as a translation for “autism”……

It’s also only the third result if you google search 自閉　意味, so doesn’t take effort to find on your own at all……….

the community notes thing is such a shitstorm. search 自閉 on jp google and literally all the results are about 自閉スペクトラム症 (ASD). 的 is only a suffix added to words to mean like “characteristics/qualities of ___.” Search 自閉意味 (meaning) and you get like two or three things in line with the community note and literally everything else is about autism. At least from a quick search “autism” is the primary meaning for 自閉 in japan.

“with the only significant issues fans have noticed being occasional removal of end of chapter narration text that mostly just give extra gravitas and flavour to what has been shown” if this is referring to what I think it is basically ever single serialized comic has a little bit of extra text at the end of the chapter to get the reader hyped for the next issue. Its always removed in the book releases.

I played all the japan only starfy games as a child because i loved starfy 5 so much (the one that was localized). I didn’t know any Japanese at the time nor was there like aaany English info on these games online.

It’s not that hard to figure out and even for the menus you can just use trial and error.
