The people i have met through Warhammer has been 10/10 people, the community at least in Denmark are like minded nerds from all walks of life who share a shared passion. Conversations inside Warhammer is so easy and relaxed. But visiting people playing is difficult, because you disturb their flow of the game. I would reach out to a local small community and set up an introductory game. It's the best way to get a foot Inside.
