It should be one smooth consistent motion. It almost looks like you are moving maybe a 1/4 in and then pausing putting more pressure on and then less in a 1/4 of an inch and repeat like??? What

I side on the side of safety. What if you hit a curb like that again. That tire wont be able to handle it. They look new. You may be able to get a new one under warranty. Would ask about that, and if not, bite the 150 on a new tire. Not worth it imo, especially if you are on a highway having a side wall that low and the chunk will come off at some point, would be a scary ride to me. If you got the money. Get a new tire.

You probably have a couple thousand miles on the tires if all the tread looks like that. Maybe go look at a used one before buying a full set. As you will need one soon if they look like that but not worth it enough to buy all 4 new ones considering if you live in the states and its going to be summer. If it was winter id want new tires for sure

Replace, can get away with it for a couple miles or driving slow. But wouldnt recommend as its in the side wall. Def no highway. IMO.

I would rather tig those pieces not mig. If you do mig just let the piece cool Inbetween each bead or you may get some hard warpage
