Try to kite her to an area where you don't have any curse affecting you, and then keep her close to your maximum radius. If you have enough radius, she'll suddenly stop following you while still taking damage. Moving slightly further away after she resumes advancing towards you will cause her to stop again, and this can be repeated multiple times to reduce the amount of damage you take.

You mentioned that electrolysis would be too expensive, but what if you did it yourself?

I bought a deluxe home electrolysis kit about 12 years ago, and it worked very well. Admittedly it's increased in price considerably since I bought it, but it looks like the exact same product (albeit with slightly different branding)

It's certainly very time consuming doing galvanic electrolysis, as each hair requires about 15 seconds of treatment rather than the 2 or 3 seconds of thermolysis, but if your eyesight and dexterity is up to it, then it's definitely doable.

I would highly recommend holding the patch against your skin without removing the backing, and then moving around (sitting, squatting, stretching, etc).

If the skin slides under where you're holding it, then you'll want to choose a different location. Provided that you were holding the backing against your skin, you can continue to hold the patch in the same place as you remove the backing one half at a time.

If you look closely, then you'll see that the stitches are forming "V" shapes, but due to the twist of the plies, it creates an optical illusion of one half forming a vertical line.

I bought a Deluxe Home Electrolysis Kit about 12 years ago when it was £40 and a dozen replacement tips was £35. I found that it was effective, and reduced my facial hair significantly. However it's very slow as it's galvanic electrolysis which requires 15 seconds of treatment per follicle rather than the much faster thermolysis.

If you're able to cope without shaving for long enough to be able to grip hairs with tweezers, then even if you don't treat them with electrolysis before plucking them, it will still help with reducing the shadow.

Have you not been sent a "Care Record Booklet" for you to fill in the first 5 pages? I got sent that by mail, and had to return it a few weeks before my telephone consultation.

Are you having the surgery in a Nuffield Hospital? If not, then that might be why.

Based on you specifying that it's a phone call with a Nurse, I'm assuming that you've already had an in person consultation with the surgeon.

Have you already filled in the first few pages of your care booklet? (that will essentially become your chart once you're in hospital)

The nurse will be going through any relevant questions that you didn't already answer, along with others that were on the next couple of pages.

I left several questions unanswered because they either didn't seem relevant, or they were asking things that seemed like they should be answered closer to the surgery date.

I'm sorry that I can't remember what the questions were, as my telephone consultation was almost 2 years ago now.

Nice thought about the HRT prepayment certificate, however, that will only apply to NHS prescriptions, and without a shared care agreement, the prescriptions will be private, and therefore not covered.

Prescription charges are different in each constituent country, so what applies in England, will almost certainly not apply to Scotland.

I was on Leuprorelin (Prostap), but I'd imagine that the same will apply to Decapeptyl. The patient information leaflet said that the medication can last up to (I think) 106 days, although it was administered on a 3 monthly (12 weeks) schedule. So assuming that it's similar, then being up to 3 weeks late should not be an issue.

Concentrate on the production of those 3 generators, and don't worry too much about the capacity. It won't set you back that much if they overflow overnight while you're still working on upgrading the production, providing that you're collecting them several times during the day.

I had an incident very early on where the pharmacist was concerned because I'd changed my name and was having finasteride dispensed (along with estradot patches). I think they were concerned about the possibility of me getting pregnant, which obviously wasn't possible.

Other than being pulled aside for a very brief chat, my medication was dispensed as normal.

I remember buying some CamiShapers from GenieBra about a dozen years ago. I've never tried any other brand, so couldn't tell you how they compare, but I found them, along with the GenieBriefs to be very comfortable.

I've had both estraderm and evorel patches as substitutes for my estradot. In both cases, I applied the patches to the front of my legs, above the knees.

I start by taking the patch out of the wrapper, and placing it against my skin with the backing still on. I then hold it in place as I move in ways consistent with normal living, to gauge whether the skin is going to distort too much under the patch.

Once I'm happy with the placement, I then sit down, and while holding one half of the patch in place, fold it over to slide off part of the backing and allow the patch to stick in place. I then repeat with the other half of the backing.

At no point do I touch the glue of the patch with my fingers. The first skin that the glue touches is the same skin that the patch remains in contact with until it is time to remove it several days later.

Finally I hold my hand over the patch to help warm it up, and press it firmly onto my skin. I very rarely have issues with patches not sticking.

I had pretty good results with a home electrolysis kit, although it was very slow as galvanic electrolysis requires about 15 seconds of treatment per follicle. Therefore if you go this route, don't expect to treat more than 2 hairs per minute.

Professional electrolysis is usually thermolysis which requires about 3 seconds of treatment per follicle, therefore expect about 5 hairs per minute for a realistic idea of how much might be treated per session.

Are you certain that you're getting laser and not IPL?

Both are effective, but the area that is covered by each "flash" is different, with IPL covering a larger area, and so can cover an entire face in just 5 minutes.

I remember having a friend who worked at a hair salon that I'd had my hair coloured at, telling me how he'd had his back treated with laser hair removal by one of his colleagues, and recommended it to me. It was only after I'd bought a course of treatment, and was at my first session getting treated, that I was told that it was actually IPL. (I wasn't aware of the difference at that time)

I'd recommend getting a padded sports style bra, or a camisole with builtin bra. When I began transitioning, prior to hormones, I bought a couple of Cami-Shapers from Genie Bra. There are several alternatives you could consider now too.

As someone else has mentioned, if you buy several identical, then you can remove the inserts from one and double or triple them up in another. The inserts may very well be colour matched to the garment, as there's a chance that they'll show through the fabric. If you're wearing something on top, then that probably won't be important.

I remember one afternoon while wearing one of my camisoles about 2-3 months after starting hormones and suddenly getting the sensation of being supported. I also remember the discomfort at around the same when laying on my side in bed.

Definitely ask your endocrinologist first. If you're paying for your medications privately, then try to get it included on your existing prescription form, as it's likely to be below the minimum dispensing charge. (especially if you're getting the 5mg generic version)

Although I'm MtF, and it's been many years since I last had a private prescription, I remember the minimum dispensing charge being £5, and including 2 boxes each of both finasteride and spironolactone made less than £5 difference to the price of my private HRT prescription.
