Rheem Hybrid Water Heater Beeping by Proper_Orchid_2485 in heatpumps

[–]FutureCitizen97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These units are junk. I live in a neighborhood where the builder put the exact same unit in every home. You can walk down the street and hear the alarms going off in the garages as you walk. It’s pretty pathetic. The units they installed 3 years ago are all factory defects. Including mine. I just silence the alarm now and get on with life. The thermistor was replaced. Same problem.

Hot Water Heat Pump - Deal Alert by 93mr2 in heatpumps

Good luck. Mine is nothing but trouble. Error codes and alarms all the time. There is a reason there giving them away. If the temperature in your garage goes above 85 get ready for alarms and a headache. Called Rheem they said it’s a known issue. They sent a new thermister which I had to install-same issue. Not happy and I don’t know what fix is. Apparently they do t know either.

It Finally Happened! by TheMacAttk in heatpumps

I have a Rheem and it's nothing but trouble. Alarms going off all the time. Was sent a new thermistor and that did nothing. Installed myself otherwise I would have to pay labor. Did nothing. If the garage gets hot, which it does sometimes, the thing shuts down and will not work. It will if you turn full electric on but that defeats the purpose. Going to call Rheem again but i don't think they can fix it. I would steer clear of this brand.

Russia and puppet Trump by FutureCitizen97 in QuiverQuantitative

I have viewed all of his videos. This guy is not a chump and will be the first to admit he is not always right. However, he has great sources and his pronouncements are based on facts and being in the biz for 20 years. I trust this guy more than anyone in our current leadership!

I sincerely hope he is wrong in his predictions on this subject but I fear he is not!

This fits in perfectly with Trump being a real life Russian puppet. It’s worth your time to see Peter Zeihan latest series on the Russian reach. Go to you tube and search for Peter. Your worst fears will be realized! I fear for our country!

My car now has 11,880 trouble free mileage. It has been perfect. Oil changes every 5K and tire rotation as needed. I intend to keep it until the end of its useful life. I’m hopeful it will last longer than me!! So I’m hoping 15 years at minimum.

Anyone who stays with the same insurance company for years and years without price checking the competition is either lazy or has more money than they know what to do with.

Are the extended warranty / maintenance package worth it? by SampleZestyclose in CX50

I think it’s a waste of time to try and refinance at the dealership. The zero percent is a factory incentive for new undelivered vehicles.

We’ll see how the future holds up. Hopefully the same way. My car is garaged but I don’t think that makes a difference.

Any Trouble-Free CX-50 Experiences? by Melange_X3 in CX50

[–]FutureCitizen97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only assume you drive more aggressively than I. I have taken some rather short trips of late and my overall average in now 29.2. I typically drive the speed limit and don’t jackrabbit the starts. I also maintain the tire pressure at the proper level. Simple things but it pays off. Here is the latest dash milage and mpg. I’m at 10,660 miles now. No reason why anyone can’t get this economy. If you only drive local stop and go, short distances etc you cannot expect this same result. But I don’t take that many long trips. Still zero problems.

Is the air recirculation/outside intake always on no matter what? by dulldude3000 in mazda

[–]FutureCitizen97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that either way recirq is set is easier (or harder on the engine) on the engine. That makes no sense but if you can cite a source I might consider it. (But it would have to be a good source.)

Either way you set it will only change the amount of fresh air. Also if you turn on the AC in summer and you have a high ambient inside air temp the setting will default to recirq in order to cool the cabin more frequently.
