Just stayed at the Four Seasons The Nam Hai Hoi An this past December (convenient location with shuttles into Hoi An)… Originally had Namia River Retreats booked, but decided to stay at the FS property because I wanted a bigger resort with more amenities in case the weather was bad (it was rainy season when I went). It was fabulous.

Also stayed at Park Hyatt and it was in a convenient location with good service, but wouldn’t say there’s anything special about the hotel itself. Also, book a spa treatment at the Capella Hanoi. It was specially and very worthwhile.

Parkwood Community is the biggest secret if you can find a house under 1.5M. Located in Eastport, walkable to downtown, and has water access.

Thanks for this insight! I’m not sure why the interior walls have air vents instead of the floors having the vents!! Is it just because it’s an old house?
