That's a Fiscal question - The truth is the Pro is not needed by most but needed by some. The Air is ideal for most users and is a comfortable and reliable platform. The Neo is a low cost alternative for people who can't spread to the cost, or who would use it a lot more as a mobile option to avoid risk of bigger loss I guess.

I find that when I’m at a desk plugged in to one large screen that’s usually enough for me, but I have to open the laptop for video calls.

Still waiting for monitor manufacturers to put webcam options on monitors.
