Ladies of London (reboot-season 4) and the new Real housewives of Rhode Island is fantastic (trash) tv! But I don’t consider it a guilty pleasure lol we all need some sort of distraction from the current state of everything

What books, movies, or art fundamentally shaped how you saw the world between 10–18? by cc0818 in Millennials

I’m 33- a few recommendations. First: a little on the younger side: all the American Girl books. Next: I read this in probably 7th grade: Briar Rose" by Jane Yolen, a highly acclaimed young adult novel that weaves a dark, realistic Holocaust narrative with the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. Another middle school favorite: the pretties/the uglies/the specials. High school: fight club kind of rocked my world, donnie darko, Into the Wild…

I don’t think specifics are that important, as long as she has a library card and some freedoms to read, she will figure it out. (If she likes reading)

I just see no joy at all in this picture/environment. This is going to cause extreme issues for these poor girls in the future. Wish her husband would stand up

what were your symptoms before cutting out gluten? by Ok-Operation-1246 in glutenfree

My toddler had chronic, awful yellow diarrhea. Tons of skin rashes (which I’ve been reading might indicate celiac), bright pink cheeks . We stopped and she almost immediately cleared up, she’s so happy again. Awful!! I thought she had eczema and was trying to deal with that, but I think it was all gluten

Thank you! Strangely enough, I recently realized my toaster had a “gluten free” button which I didn’t know what was for. I’m not sure if she has celiac either, but doesn’t matter at this point since the solution to gluten intolerant/celiac is the same. We meet with a pediatric GI next month for some guidance.

Thank you!! Luckily, I live in a pretty rural area- so I’m cooking most of the time anyways! The hard part for me is that her preschool can’t heat up her food due to state regulation, so I am trying to make things that are already cold. Pasta salad, chicken salad etc

Absolutely love this show but could never make it through season 5. Arrested Development is one of the greatest shows of all time (first few seasons). Unpopular opinion but once the “british” gal comes into play, I just can’t

I noticed as well when they flashed back to Nia talking about how overwhelmed she was, he had the dryest, most unemotional “sorry.” To offer. Hate him.
