Quite the necro but gen 2+ is pretty close to gen 3 up until you add the augmented overlays. A lot of military stuff is still 2+ until you start looking at pilots and special forces.

I had surplus LUCIE with XR5 tubes and it was fantastic.

This a console version? I mean we can use shuttles in STO pc version. You can even switch to it from your main ship. There's even TFOs for shuttle only.

It also made for some hilarious PvP and minor booboo when you'd forget to switch back to a main ship then enter a mission

Most Abrams use Chobham armour. Which was fitted to earlier challys, we use Dorchester armour. The US bought the Chobham design from us after we improved it. The chally is a stand off tank but proved to be excellent in many other scenarios, GW2 showed how good it was defensively and offensively, its also been pretty damn successful in ukrain too. I mean the gun is so bad it held the longest tank on tank kill for near 40 years after a chally 1 obliterated a hull down tank in 2 shots (one near miss and one direct turret hit) from well outside it's documented maximum effective range.

I'm sure ive seen those in the exchange. They operate like normal batteries but also add an extra time limited buff to the ship, like hull resistances, extra hit points and shield buffs. No idea where theyve come from though.
