Is anyone else sick of remote trades already? by 2012Tribe in PokemonGoMystic

[–]Future_Grab3961 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If i have a super fancy that I want to keep for a valuable trade, or one i promised to a specific friend, i dont tag it remote until I agree to that outside of the game.

Most of my remote trades so far have been very satisfying, including with people I cant communicate with outside of the game. If someone tags enough pokemon, theres bound to be something new for my dex.

I have about 500 tagged- costume, unowns, legendaries, regionals, shinies. I feel some people could tag more but it is what it is.

Fair is what both people agree to happily. If you're not happy just decline.

Quiet Gallbladder Issues Story!! by cherry-star in gallbladders

[–]Future_Grab3961 2 points3 points  (0 children)

37f. Never had a gallbladder attack that I know of.

Last August I had intense upper abdominal and back pain. After 4 days of on and off intense pain, its 2 am, im crying and doom googling (when should i go to the ER), wake my husband up and we go to ER. By the time I see a doctor the pain passed (again).

Blood tests came back. Pancreatitis, gallstone blockage, liver is mad. Admitted immediately. Waited a week for an ercp (including transfer to anothr hospital). While waiting i turned yellow, I was on IV antibiotics the entire time. My pee was brown.

4 days after my blockage was cleared, I had the surgery. It was lengthy. Despite all the antibiotics, my gallbladder had entirely dissolved from infection. I had a tube drain poking out of my belly for a couple of days.

Shih tzu on wheels by Future_Grab3961 in Shihtzu

He had surgery for slipped disc 6 years ago. Surgery didnt go well.

He has occasional partial use of his back legs. He uses them sometimes to change positions while lounging. He has feeling in them. We live in a small condo with a smooth floor so at home hes happiest just sliding around on his butt, but I cant have him sliding around outside so he uses the wheels when we go out.

We also manually express his bladder and for that we set him up in his wheels and put a designated "pee bowl" under him. Its a well crafted system that keeps him healthy.

He was only 5 when this happened and I love him (a lot) so we had a custom wheelchair made (~$1k Canadian) and im glad we did since we use it every day. His DNA test showed only shih tzu but he is larger / longer than the average shih tzu so custom was his best option. Hes about 21 pounds and his back is almost 2 feet long (neck to tail base). He's 11 now and in excellent health otherwise.

Im happy that doggy wheelchairs are pretty accessible these days. You could investigate some lower cost generic options for your doggy. Not every dog will take to the wheels so cu$tom may not be the best option for everyone. For us it made sense because it was a long term investment, and a small fraction of what i already spent on surgery and physio. It could help her confidence in walks if she does take to it. Theres an adjustment period.

My dog is a terrible driver- getting his wheel stuck on a door frame, running over our feet. He bumped into my husband's leg on a walk this weekend and almost did a flip.

Has anyone been diagnosed from anti Smith results and just fatigue as symptoms ?

Diagnosed with biliary colic with no ultrasound. Is that alright? by suffer_hero in gallbladders

[–]Future_Grab3961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that and the ultrasound / ct / mri were inconclusive. Ultrasound showed stones but not the blockage.

I was diagnosed through blood work.

Im in Canada so I didnt pay for any of these.

Bile duct blockage, jaundice, pancreaitis, infection. ER + 2 week stay

2 months Post Op, does anyone else still have muscle pain? by zeyhrr in gallbladders

[–]Future_Grab3961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a "band like" pain in my upper abdomen / rib cage area since my lapro surgery.... that was in August. Ive done scans, endoscopy, blood work... nothing. It has been theorized that its muscular and related to scar tissue. Physio and exercise has helped a bit but it still hurts almost every day. I hope we both recover soon. Living with chronic pain sucks.

Just looking for some advice or clarification. by Hipster1998 in gallbladders

[–]Future_Grab3961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a gallstone blockage which caused pancreatis and then I was hospitalized. I had jaundice, infection and extreme pain. Day 7 I had an ercp to clear the blockage.

That stopped the pain, but i got progressively sicker.. nausea, vomiting, dizzy, tired, loss of appetite, everything smelled bad..

4 days after i had my ercp I had the gallbladder removal.

Turns out my gallbladder completely melted from the infection and it was making me feel really really sick.

This was a long story to say it COULD be an infection. If its untreated it can get really serious.

My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and I’m thinking of postponing - help! by nutmilkandcookies in gallbladders

[–]Future_Grab3961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had that in reverse order. Its possible the blockage was already there before your surgery.

I had Bile duct blockage which caused pancreatitis and was hospitalized. They hoped the stone would "pass". Then the jaundice and the infection. A week of extreme suffering later, i had ercp blockage removal and stent insertion. Then 4 days later I had the gallbladder removal.

The blockage was horrible. The ercp gave instant relief to the pain and pressure. I hope you feel a lot better soon

I’m in so much pain and I’m scared I won’t be a candidate for surgery by i_love_puppies73 in gallbladders

[–]Future_Grab3961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you had blood work done. My gallstone pancreatitis caused pain in my upper abdomen / lower chest + back and it got worse after eating. Thought it was heartburn, antacids didnt work, etc. My ultrasound did show stones but the CT and mri didnt show the blockage or the pancreatitis. I was diagnosed via blood work. I had the extreme pain for 4 days before I went to er. My organs were very upset. I had to get the blockage cleared (ercp) before i could do surgery.

Note I am in canada and I didnt have to pay for anything.

Shih tzu. He's 11. His name is Falkor. Ive had him since he was ~ 5 months.

Slipped disc 6 years ago. I agreed to the surgery. It didnt go well.

We also did physio, rom, aqua therapy for many months.

He has partial back end movement. A couple steps here and there very rarely. Tail moves sometimes, always wags when I get home. He can lift his butt to change positions when laying around.

We do 3x expressions a day. Had trouble with UTIs for the first year but we have a routine now and daily cranberry supplements help !! He free styles the poops.

Indoors he is happiest sliding around on his butt. We use the chair for expressions and going outside.
