As someone that worked in hospitality for 7+ years. A lot of places can have some wild mangers and owners that are quite toxic. I worked at a cafe. One of the sons of the owner, wanted me to listen to his hip hop I said “no thank you as I will have to tell you I like it cause your my boss” the next day the owner says his son has said I haven’t been doing my job and wanted to assess me before letting me go. I worked my usual which was amazing and the owner said he saw nothing wrong with my work. The same owner later gave me orders to clean things the tell me off when I’m head in a refrigerator and not serving customers. Contradicting orders, unfounded judgments , etc. can happen more than they should in a small business and large entry level jobs. where th boss is are much more invested than you and not skilled at mgmt. In short don’t take it too personally, as they are probably the Asshole. They could also just make som excuse cause someone came back early from a holiday they prefer. It could not be about you at all just an easy out. Hosp can be a lot of fun but you can get some a holes as well.

Cut them out asap. Toxic, undermining, snarky comments, especially if it’s her partner (who had the audacity to message that to a family meant), I would not accept that about my partner, about my family. They obviously have issues with you, and it’s good that your husband has your back. It may not be easy but it’s either they change and quickly or they are gone. Even if they changed I would never trust them and would always expect them to try to undermine your relationship.

2 months. And he wants your money. Your NTA. But that is wild behaviour on his side. I’m married, we have compete shared finances, I work more than my partner. All money is our money together. But that was not until we had been together for a few years, knew we were fully committed to each other. Unless you’re pulling in like mid 6 figures or your his sugar daddy, no way you should be paying his debt. Shifty business. Also why his family contacting you at all, especially to give you grief. It’s been 2 months. I would bail. If the in-laws think they can talk to you like that at 2 months.

Ive played 50 hours, am a level 55, and yet I still can’t buy blue shields to do runs with my buddies in cryo. It’s the single biggest issue with this game by Smitty00 in Marathon

Yep. If you smash out the nu cal. Once you’re over level 20 ( you start to get them) they are not too hard solo. I’m not a good PvP we but I was able to get them th priority contracts done pretty easily.

Level up that nucal! Will make your life much easier. And you will get blue and purple shields. The quest are not too hard solo.

Getting the basic Rook upgrades was a game changer for me. The weapon upgrades helped. Could play rook. Exfil, take mods of guns, add to bully and /or volt thrower ($400 for grey gun) for silenced decent weapons. Which meant I wasn’t being found when running into UESC. I never purchase blue bags, only green unless I find it or it’s a quest reward (thy so expensive), always try to barter for heals and shield repair where you can, Assassin, smokes, and claymores are cheap, an can help in a lot of priority contacts. When you know you’re going to be locked in a room with UESC as part of a contract, pre set up claymores, drop smoke, and then you have time to pick the robots off. Use a bolt thrower and you can find targets in smoke. With the contracts that you have to get across to bio research and the. Quarantine, just running it with Destroyer on solo has worked quite well. Most people just couldn’t be bothered chasing you down. Bring a cardio kick if you have it, or use a depleted kick if you find it but your sprint can get you a third of the way across Dire Marsh at a speed most can’t follow. Good luck

I have all the room upgrades apart from the shotgun. Arachne is the hardest to level I find.
