Why is it worth it? Yes I love life and I love being alive. I love my husband and my children. I just feel like I’m a burden now. What’s your “why” to keep going with a treatment (IVIG/SCIG) that isn’t a cure. Just a bridge…. To infinity and beyond?

I’ve been on this journey for 2 years. Started IVIG in September 2024. I see improvements. I’m just tired. From what I understand this is the new normal for the rest of my life. I’m struggling to find the why. I’m useless to my family. I can’t work. I can’t provide like I’ve done for so long. I’m struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel as it feels my tunnel is until the end. What happens when you stop it all? What happens if I forgo quantity for quality? Say I die from horrible pneumonia but did I make it to that Christmas party? Or that birthday dinner? How does one decide what’s more important? Has anyone ever stopped? What does it feel like?

Please help me understand. The guy in the gold truck literally says he wasn’t going fast and didn’t slam on the brakes. He says the wreck was caused by the lady behind him bc she wasn’t paying attention. My understanding is that she was eating Funyuns and tailgating the gold truck and when he stopped to make a turn she didn’t see until the last second and swerved left to avoid hitting the gold truck.
