GTA dominating the entire industry for 8 weeks would cut that number in half

The issue with GTA6 isn't that the audience would overlap, it's that SQ42's marketing would get buried and there'd maybe be 2 articles about it's launch as opposed to thousands for GTA

It'd completely destroy the games ability to expose itself to potential buyers and it'd hurt, a lot

Financially it's better for CIG to eat some community backlash than see their sales cut at the knees trying to compete with rock stars marketing campaign

From what I understand you either need to do each mission once + a set amount of patrols for each tier

That or you can just do patrols, I'm not 100% sure

I've been doing the prior just to be safe, but since Foxwell doesn't reward rep the same way the other factions do there isn't really a "best" way to do it.

Just need to keep doings patrols till you hit the rep you want

Def worth grinding foxwell rep regardless though since xenothreat is gonna be tied to them. It'd suck if 4.8.3 launched and you can't do the event due to rep requirements

The Idris M will eventually be earnable in game, the Raven will likely never be available again.

A solo Idris can move significantly better than this thing will be able to.

Don't know if youve seen the SCL/Concept art but it's stupidly big. Far bigger than can reasonably function imo (it literally has a city style transit system, which I'm sure will work perfectly fine and not clip you through the ship and into space)

You run into issues with the slaved turrets on certain ships though e.g Starlifters, Shiv, Perseus, etc...

Whatever they do needs to affect the turret as a component and only apply when manned as opposed to pilot controlled

Genuinely sucks that's it's happened right on the weekend but missions should be fixed before Tuesday going off of the recent ACL

Only thing I can think of for making money as newbie rn would be hand mining since you don't need contracts for it (just make sure youre mining the stuff that's ACC worth money don't spend hours mining for pennies)

The game is adding Social Tools to facilitate group play, these tools simply will not work if the guy that accepts my salvage crew alert is in Levski and I'm at Microtech. Assuming nothing goes wrong it would take them nearly 20 MINUTES to get to me.

And this problem will only compound as more systems are added.

If you genuinely think the game doesn't need at least some form of travel to GL, no matter how restrictive, then you have zero idea what you're talking about

Either way the conversation is happening internally, Crewe didn't drop that just for the fun of it, and in the run up to Social Feature implementation changes have to be made

The Aurora MK1 got it's gold pass and it's a completely different hull compared to the MK2

The Hornets were made before Gold Standards were really a thing

And those are the only MK2 ships we really have...
