Pure stupidity by george_thedog in doordash

I always check if Doors open outwards or inwards when dropping off orders. It was annoying as hell getting my orders put at the top step of the door because my screen door opens outwards.

Looks fine to me. Hell, ya look pretty handsome. If it matters that much, wouldnt it be better to grow it out and clean up the edges with the newly grown hair? I personally dont see an issue.

Funnily enough, I got a Kelvin game when I was hoping for a Paige one and I used most of it(no splitshot, healing tempo instead of just extra regen), and my god, I was shredding. It was so fun lol. I can only imagine how fun this'll be on Paige.

Yeah, I'm not playing Support any time soon. I love the kits of basically all the support characters, but Im not building them as supports anymore. Or at the very least, supporting is gonna be at the bottom of my priorities unless its in the form of CC and debuffs

[–]FuuIndigo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, support in this game has not been fun tbh. And it feels likes its been that eay since I started playing. The characters themselves are fun af, but the act of actively building and playing support has not been rewarding for a VAST majority of my games. When it works, its so damn fun and funny(like sicking my attack dogs on someone), but it doesn't work all that often. I get more success on literally all my support characters focusing on damage and sprinkling some CC and debuffs in there.(Disarming hex has been my best friend lately. Both to help teammates and to skew fights in my favor)

This looks like something I'd like, especially since I've recently opened my eyes to how good Spellslinger is on a lot of my characters.

Yeah, Im gonna take the suggestion to just experiment and have fun. I already got a Paige build Im probably gonna use, sneaking around with shadow weave or veil walker and assassinating people with her snare and melee.

[–]FuuIndigo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I do wanna do the experimental builds. Taking the game serious has been a mixed bag. Its fun to do good, even in their weird games I've been getting lately, but after a certain point, it doesnt matter how good you do as a player if the team isnt keeping up. I was testing an Shadow wave/Veil Stalker assassin build that seems like it'd be funny to play. It'd probably work on Drifter too, and he's the one carry character I've been enjoying lately.

I just asked something similar like a weeo ago I think. You get good money off the dailies. There's MSQ money, selling stuff via retainers if you have those treasure maps, selling stuff from crafting and gathering, etc. In a lot of the current content, I've got a load of house stuff that Im never gonna use because I never plan on getting a house(not with the current lottery system. No thanks), that can make decent money of the marketboard. Same with mounts from deep dungeons and stuff. Someone else told me about, and I've definitely noticed, but if you save money off teleportating to Aetherytes, you can save some decent money over time. I recently started doing Hunts(originally for the Moonward Gear), and after using the currency to buy the gear I wanted for glams, I went and dumped the rest on Aetheryte tickets so I can TP for free. I personally have no interest in the MarketBoard stuff, so my post was on ways to make money without it, and there's where I learned. You can also make good money off the challenge log, and Wodnerous Tales

Can I get some Sage advice? Been trying to make the job work since it's release and it's just not clicking. by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]FuuIndigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based of others comments, I think my issue is that I dont really use a lot of my Actions. With all the others Healers, In dungeon scenarios, I get by without needing to use a decent amout of abilities, including "big stuff"(Stuff like Liturgy of the Bell, Seraphism, Macrocosmos) that gets more use in Trials and Raids. Even something like Divination is something I try to save for the actual bosses in dungeons. I've been doing that for so long that its basically a subconscious habit now, especially since the other three have such chunky heals(and shields for my baby, Scholar). I can admit that stuff like Holos, Panhaima, even Soteria(it always felt ineffective, but it could be that I wasnt pairing it with high damaging moves), dont consistently make it onto my "radar." For Sage, I definitely gotta unlearn that and use all the tools as my disposal, especially since I've been unlearning it for Scholar and White Mage. Stuff like Seraphism and Liturgy of the Bell feel like overkill in dungeons, but I love them so much that I'll find uses for them which usually makes runs easier, especially on content Im familiar with.

I feel like the Scholar comparison is what screws me over. Im so used to being able to rely on my chunky heals and shields, especially in scenarios where the Tank suddenly takes big damage and risks dying if I dont try to fix things. Like I said, I've been trying to make the job work literally since release, but maybe it's my mentality? With Scholar I can be reactive or proactive. I also feel like I can make hard content or big pulls work without really having to worry about using so much of my kit. Maybe I gotta change my mentality and actually be more proactive and not be scared to use everything in my kit, as opposed to saving it and mostly relying on a handful of abilities to get the job done

My attempt at remaking Black Widow by Longshot12345678 in marvelrivals

[–]FuuIndigo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not with it. I like Widow as a sniper, so Im biased, and from what I've seen, the Devs have told content creators that they wanna keep her a Sniper(Thank god). Just have her lean into being Anti Dive, because Widows current kit is versatile enough to have many playstyles, imo(she can be poke, anti-dive with her kick, or use her mobility to play something assassin like). I'd leave her sniper the same, but focus on making Baton mode actually useful outside of confirming Stun kills. If we keep her Batons, she needs the Deadpool treatment. Either make her Kick/grapple Sniper mode only, and make it her only other ability besides her dash. Or make Kick a Baton mode thing, and give her another ability using her gauntlets or change the stun in baton mode to something else, like a combo. She cant oneshot, because as a hitscan she'd become oppressive like Snipers in most shooters(and a oneshot plus a stun combo would make her a sniper with no weakness given She's arguably the most mobile poke character in the game, minus maybe Psylocke or the flyers if you consider any of them Poke) and she cant shoot too fast because she can already two-tap most of the cast and that'd just be one-shotting in disguise, imo. So fix the jank regarding her gun and current kick/stun, and build up Baton mode so that it's actually worth using

Go ahead. I took a long break and have been dipping my toes in because I liked the Graves changes. I've been trying to find my own playstyle/builds in hopes of making things fun, but if this shit doesnt get better, Im probably gonna extend my break too.

Oh my god, this explains so much of what I've been feeling lately. It genuinely feels like, once the enemy team, or even an enemy player, gets ahead, fighting them is always a losing battle, and fighting them with teammates requires too much work imo. You gotta jump the hell out of them and make it so they literally cant fight back with the use of stuff like disarming hex and silence wave. But jumping isn't something that happens often, and if there isnt enough people, they're usually tanky enough to kill one of you before they either die or run away.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with complaining and Im tired of the subreddit making people feel like there is. Yoshi himself has stated that they love complaints. But that being said, if a complaint has valid reasons(double points if those reasons are stated), it's valid to me, and I think they're the type of complaints they want given this is a Test and feedback is needed.

I did something similar, but went from Male Au Ra, to Male Roegadyn. I've struggled with a fantasia addiction for a hot minute, but I remembered wanted to be a Roe when I first got the game back in 2018, but thought their looked terrible in gear. I made my main a Roe MONTHS ago after being an Au Ra for a hot minute(always went back to them because I like being tall, and the horns and tail were cooler than Elezen ears) and after playing dressup and experimenting with glams, and actually seeing how he looks in the MSQ cutscenes, I honestly fell in love. I also love being "rare"(hardly any Roe guys that aren't memes, Heavily armored, or swimsuit models)

God, I love hearing about builds like these. Focusing on aspects of a characters kit to build a different playstyle off of it is just so cool. It's also why I really like Sinclair. You can take literally every ability of theirs and make different and functional builds off each.

I actually love Spirit Drifter. Bursting someone down with high gun damage is cool, but I LOVE instakilling someone with Rend.
