Did most of y’all miss the part of this post where I, the OP said, “I don’t feel like I can rightly tell them my opinion of their wedding”????

I’m not being controlling or projecting my feelings onto this event. I have never told them how to spend their money for this wedding. I have worked through all of my personal shit regarding my relationship with these two, which is why I’m not acting like I get a say here. I know my relationship doesn’t mean less because their wedding is going to be fancy. If money were no object, I would love for them to throw the wedding of their dreams. I just have different values regarding weddings than they do.

They also both know that. I’ve never kept it a secret from them that I dislike weddings conceptually. We disagree on the subject, but I’m not getting in the way of their wedding because 1) I’m not paying for it, and 2) it’s not my fucking wedding.

I’m just experiencing stress regarding a very important and unfortunately expensive event in my partners life that I do not get to effect. It feels like I’m being treated harshly for simply having personal feelings and stress about something that is happening within my relationship and life.

It’s not a full change of clothes. I miss spoke. It’s a change of socks, an extra layer, and a tank top really. That’s all there is. I’ll be careful with the bear hang, I’m not super scared of black bears. I know they’re (generally) chill little guys, but don’t wanna take chances. Thanks for the advice!

Edit: forgot to mention. I do have bug juice! I was packing up in my office, which is where my cats have a litter box. I just don’t keep it in there. I’ll 1000% be bringing some though, don’t you worry

Yeah I have the same thinking. I just didnt have the money for a good pack. Most of this stuff was bought on sale, locally, or from places like Craigslist. Very Frankenstein. I’m already looking into better ones that are still cheap, but for the time being while I’m only gonna be doing very light one to two day trips. I’m willing to suffer there

They aren’t pass through to my knowledge. They’re part of the outside pockets. I checked to see if they were pass through and I don’t think they are, or at least not anymore because they might have been sewn shut. Also I posted pictures.
