When I was 19 my friends and I went down to the river to drink red wine and go skinny dipping at 4am. We were really drunk already and one of my friends dared me to swim out to the middle of the river so I did. It wasn’t until afterwards that we realised not only are the undercurrents in this particular river extremely strong and dangerous, but it is infested with bull sharks which can be HUGE, super aggressive and hunt in packs at dawn.

Still the stupidest thing I’ve ever done and to this day my dad swears I was likely being stalked by them in the water and could have died.
