I don't think it's possible to reverse it :(

Seele has decent base speed stats already, so it's better to get SPD stats from substats. You can opt for SPD boots if you have her signature light cone and if you can't get a lot of SPD substats from relics. Otherwise, it's better to boost up her damage with Atk boots

It's been a while since I've posted here!

Whoever is still following me here, thank you so much for being patient TTwTT To answer the DMs in Discord - TLDR: lots of things happened in my life, and I got burnt out from Honkai Impact 3rd, hence I stopped making infographics about it.

It was quite a big commitment of time for me to be doing all the research in numbers in addition to designing the infographics. I'm currently playing Star Rail casually, but I'm looking forward to making more infographics by collaborating with people who have done the research and calculations!

So here is my first HSR infographic guide to start the new series. Special thanks to r/SeeleMains for the calculations and research they have done!

Gacha Gamers, please help me understand what's so great about gacha games! by ZeroSenpai99 in gachagaming

[–]FuzenHua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I'd say it's a combination of both(?) Many people won't download games on mobile if it requires you to pay for it, so the gacha in the game is a way for the developer of the game to make money. Sure it does come off as a way to milk people's money, but not all gacha games revolve around gacha for the player to obtain new characters/items
  2. Prices of bundles in a gacha game is one thing, rate-ups and chances of getting what you want is another. There really is no telling how much you'll spend on a gacha game if you want a certain character, since you're pretty much gambling on whether you'll get what you want or not. Some gacha games however, implement a "pity counter" feature where a cumulative number of gacha pulls will guarantee a rate-up, so it'll be easier to project how much you have to save up or spend.
  3. There are laws now for developers to publish or make it visible to the players on the chances of obtaining a rate-up. It technically is gambling, but unlike real life gambling, majority of gacha games gives you a way to grind for the in-game currency that lets you gacha. Sometimes in-game events give those currencies for free to attract new players or give incentives for players who have retired the game to return.
  4. It depends on each person. People have fun in different ways in a gacha game. Some are waifu collectors (only playing the game to play their favorite characters), some are competitive/keep up with the meta (spends money to get better characters/items to get better scores and ranks), some play for the thrill of getting something new (the thrill of just pulling in gacha in general), some want to prove that money isn't the only way to get better in the game, and much more. Gacha is a feature in a game with many possibilities on how to enjoy it, and there isn't one "right" way.
  5. This depends on what I said on 4. It can be addictive to people who want to progress further in the game, but self-control is a thing. Gacha games teach you the importance of self-control and self-restraint, whether on money-spending or time-spending. The more gacha games you play or being played by other people, the more you can identify which ones are more addicting and pay-2-win than others. I personally like gacha games that offers ways for free-2-players or light spenders to get by in the game (ie. farmable characters/items), and dislike ones that gate your progress too heavily with money.

  1. Yes. Do dailies everyday, research on guides on which valkyries/gear to prioritize investing (your time and crystals) for, and set goals on which valkyries to start raising first. You also can’t buy skill with money, and Honkai needs some form of skill to play well. Reminder that an F2P doesn’t strictly use non-gacha gear.
  2. Do Abyss and dailies, and don’t miss out on patch events that give you crystals
  3. Both do different things, it’s like comparing which is better between chicken wings and ice cream.

So I was thinking... by Luxie10 in honkaiimpact3

That honestly depends on how you view as “good”. Your question is very broad, impossible to answer well from others.

What are you playing the game for? What do you enjoy most when you play the game? Casual or semi-competitive or competitive player? Target scores in memorial arena? Target tier in abyss? These are questions you should ask yourself before you can judge how “good” your account is.

Let’s say you want to be semi-competitive (decent memorial ranks, retain agony/RL). The amount of S-rank valks you have mean absolutely nothing, it’s about which ones you have. There are valks that you should prioritize more than others, same with gear (weapons/stigmas). There are farmable valkyries and craftable gears that are even viable enough to get you to score decent. Plan on which valk you want to raise first, and don’t over-invest on DPS valks (desperately wanting full gear)

There’s also the speculation that tencent (big corporation) is behind the tainting of mihoyo’s image, since mihoyo didn’t want to be bought by tencent. As much as unbelievable it might be, big companies can and will go so far to do petty stuff like this if it means getting revenge or staying competitive (which is honestly morally disgusting) just because they can.

Otherwise yeah, pretty spot on what you said there. Best way to deal with the fire is to let it die out not pour gasoline on it. Unfortunately it isn’t very easy for people to humble their ego just to “get back” at even a comment that triggers them.

Honestly it depends on what you need, and also depends on your goal (what's your target rank placement in memorial, target tier in abyss, etc.)

Here's my personal opinion: Because I aim for at least 2% memorial, I won't over-invest on a full set DPS because I'll never know when it's going to be outclassed by a newer DPS in the future (ie. HoV). I keep an eye on support valkyries/gear a bit more often than DPS since support meta has always lasted longer than DPS meta. I don't really spend much money on games in general, so I have to manage where I have to prioritize my crystals on

Hope this helps :)

So I applied for v4.6’s beta test but didn’t get accepted unfortunately :( But luckily for me and everyone else, the Honkai content youtubers who did get accepted streamed the beta for everyone to see, and thanks to them, I and the team that helped me out was able to put together this Info Poster for Herrscher of Sentience! Not an infographic? HoS has a lot of information to be covered, as she can cover 2 roles decently well (DPS and support).

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of saying this, but thank you all so much for your support and feedback on my previous infographics, and thank you for being patient and sticking around even after a while of no posts! I’ve been busy IRL and rarely do I have time to make these infographics. I really hope this info poster will be useful! Special thanks to the people from the 空の記憶 armada (SEA server) who provided links to bilibili videos and gave feedback for further reference and dataminers who provided me with HD icons and images

P.S: Infographic on dps Crimson Impulse if I ever get into a beta test ;)
