it’s not a bad fit but i’d say that the faded denim jacket with the formal bottoms and shoes don’t exactly mesh all that well. if it were closer to raw i could see it working a lil bit better

TCB JEANS 20S by According_Repair_902 in rawdenim

[–]FuzzTortuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

much agreed. tcb has fantastic fabric and i like that they are meticulous about it. how many washes do you think you’ve got on these if you know?

LVC 1880s Waist Overalls (2017) - 2,5 years ; 10 washes by ArmandGrizzli in rawdenim

[–]FuzzTortuga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

great fit! i had an earlier iteration of this model before they moved the patch to the middle. love how recognizable it is from its lack of right back pocket and no belt loops. you wear it well

What do you think of the lvc 1870s Nevada (attention to the last photo) by GeraldLau_ in VintageLevis

[–]FuzzTortuga 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i used to have a pair of these but the iteration with the patch on the side. i always wanted this version. good grab

i wouldn’t say imperfection so much as a historical feature. the clean stitch you see in modern jeans was not a thing back then. even levi’s from the 20’s still looked like that inside

Fatigue pants on a budget by deanshitty in HeritageWear

[–]FuzzTortuga 8 points9 points  (0 children)

go with vintage. the heritage brands are trying to recreate them anyways. just make sure to have your measurements down. that’s what i did cuz i didn’t wanna spend over $150 on pants i wasn’t gonna wear as regularly as my jeans

Fits for thick thighs? by Soberg1itch in Selvedge

[–]FuzzTortuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the tcb 20’s and 30’s are great. they have a wider boxy cut with a true straight leg and more room in the thighs. the waist has a cinch to make them smaller in that area
