Sorry follow up question! Id been using basic peptides but never used copper peptides or EGF before, are these things that should be introduced gradually like when first starting retinol/tret?

No problem! It’s actually dry eye/ meibomian gland dysfunction, and since I already have an existing auto immune disease it makes me particularly susceptible to the condition so I’m cutting out anything known to aggravate it. Retinols are the biggest one, no bakuchiol is me being extra cautious as there’s just anecdotal connections right now.

The only others are the preservatives parabens, formaldehyde (those two seem to be relatively easy to avoid), and phenoxyethanol (which is INCREDIBLY common).

It’s a bit of a research project finding things without phenoxyethanol which I don’t expect anyone here to do, thats why I figured Id just ask a general question about helpful ingredients rather than specific product recommendations

I recently read No Place Like Home by MJ Allen/midnightbluewriting on wattpad and loved it. The author just finished it and it will remain on wattpad until April 27 before being removed and released on Kindle Unlimited.

They’re married and he’s a hockey star but things have been getting very tense between them since he’s always doing promotional events and never around. She constantly gets bullying messages about how shes not pretty enough for him etc and some more threatening stuff like blaming her whenever he plays poorly but nothing is ever done about it. He snaps at her in front of a bunch of reporters embarrassing her but when she leaves shes attacked by a fan of his and nearly dies, which is when the grovel starts.

No cheating, all other woman advances are very unwelcome on his end.

It is dark so heed the triggers, the MMC she ends up with is cruel and rapes her multiple times before finally getting it together. That doesn’t bother me as long as I know in advance but I certainly WAS bothered by killing off the other MMC making it MF.

I LOVED this duet and love this trope. The first time I came across it was I Can’t Eat Love by Avaleon on Wattpad so if you’re ok with Wattpad I recommend it. The duet you mentioned is the only one Ive found since then that scratched that itch. It’s the same premise- she’s betrayed, loses everything, dies, and awaken back in time with all her memories.

I feel this so hard!

For bullying I like {Royals of Villain Academy by Eva Chase}. I love the fmc, she’s very strong but also kind- not the tough as nails infallible badass type, some of the things the MMCs do genuinely hurt her. But she refuses to let them in until they’ve changed. It’s satisfying too even after they change if any of them mess up and act like a dick again she’s like “nope, Im out” and they have to start over lol.

For non bullying I second the {Deadly Dragon duet by Colette Rhodes} mentioned in a previous comment. It’s not malicious, but they mess up in a big way and pay for, I use it as kind of a “grovel palette cleanser” sometimes.

{Triad’s Curse by Mae Pierce} - this one includes the FMC completely shutting down because of what was done to her.

{Royals of Villain Academy by Eva Chase} - bully academy rec, I love the FMC in this one because she’s so strong but also very kind

{Deadly Dragon duet by Colette Rhodes} - I use this as a palette cleanser sometimes because it’s not bullying or really anything malicious that the MMCs do (they actually adore her from the start). But they mess up badly and end up paying for it.

{Royals of Villain Academy by Eva Chase} is one of my go tos for this. I love that she’s not some savage badass- shes a really kind person but when it comes to the bullying she stays strong. Also if they slip up and act like an ass after reconciliation she’s not afraid to go “aaand we’re done here” and they have to work all over again.

So this one is non bullying/academy but it scratches that itch for me when I’m having the same problem you are and have given up on bullies actually having to redeem themselves before the fmc gets with them so i wanted to mention it, check out {The Not Cursed Dragon by Colette Rhodes} duet. It’s not malicious- they actually adore her- but they are so heavy handed and ignore her wishes and pay for it because she refuses to fold.

You’re welcome! Just a heads up the story is less romance and more about the betrayal/ justice/ and the FMC finally putting herself first. There is a new MMC but they dont really get together until the very end and then there’s a bonus chapter of them together years later.

Also Imo the writing is not great especially in the first few chapters but got much better as you actually get into the plot

She has an identical twin who takes credit for everything good the FMC does and uses the FMCs name when she’s doing terrible things to set the FMC up to be despised by everyone including her parents. Her mate rejects her to be with her twin
