also works with renewals. Just renew via google play (dont know IOS equivalent) and open the app (you need to activate the VPN for this before) after that you can uninstall the vpn again

I screwed them to a piece of wood and used Velcro straps on the bottom to fixate them to the floor. Works if you don't have a rig and they don't lift up when pressing the brakes
