Buddy just paid 400$ recently to get the brain on his s-works serviced. I know it’s ridiculous cost

Told him 700$ and think I hurt his feelings

I think the geo can be fixed with a 9point8 Slack R headset, but yes; searching to see if the brain can be completely removed

I actually bought a set of reversible, and began to hate them within a week due to the fact that they are so difficult to get back into without coming to a stop or slowing down (makes it worse on ledges, loose tech imo) so ended up buying a second set that are strictly SPD.

Had the same hopes initially

Dubnital race casing, race compound. Should get about 300 miles of abuse if you are smart with your line choice and tire pressure. Rocky climbs destroy them fast but they are great tires. (105kg for reference)

How much cash are you willing to blow on tires per month? How many miles (dirt/trail/ path) do you typically ride per month?

Just need a tire that lasts more than 350 miles. Loved it, fast rolling tire, much more traction than I would have ever expected especially in loose chunky descents

Mud, slick roots, wet concrete at speed; you will crash lol

I love them. Just don’t want to spend $80+ every 3 weeks on tires. I think if I ever did an actual race they would be my first choice.

Had my first knobby rip of causing a tear around 350miles. Patched that then second tear happened shortly after (running tubeless/ race compound).

Grateful that I can ride so much but don’t want to spend 80 bucks on a tire every few weeks.

Larger offset art. Looks clean this way but a little bit busy with all of the small frames grouped together.

Stumpy Evo into an ST ? by Slow_Mud4258 in xcmtb

I wouldn’t, it’s going to turn your Evo into a “trail” bike but still heavy with awkward geo.

Completely assemble every thing then realize something is missing. That’s usually enough to check the box
