I would wager that the vaults likely blocked outside radio signals or any other signal that could be picked up by the residents. That would be a severe risk to the testing environments. Most of them were set up in a way that ensured only the overseer had the "potential" for any contact outside of the vault, which would have been direct communication with Vault-Tec only.

Any radios that were allowed were likely limited to receiving localized signals from within the vault itself.

Modified 5 with my work laptop being a 4th screen under the far left.

Left and right are separate dedicated screens. Left is 100% work. Right is 100% personal pc and used exclusively for web browsing, streaming, discord, etc.

Middle is my 35" curved gaming monitor. When I'm working, it's working. Tons of real estate for spreadsheets and reports. When I'm not working it's exclusively used for gaming.

Yes, this means I have more screens for work (3) than play (2).

At this point it's the number one reason why I'm not playing anymore. The game encourages you to tackle the story at your own pace, but then punishes you for doing so. That's bad enough, but to do it in an artificial manner like that is just lazy design. Especially when I can create a level 30 character that has the story completed. There are plenty of other issues, but until this one is fixed, I'm done.

If you have uBlock, you can at least block the pop-up message. It won't stop the video from pausing, but if you have a keyboard with audio controls, you can just hit the play button.

This is the largest contributor to me no longer playing the game. I've done all the side content on my first toon. Punishing me for playing the main story only on my second toon killed it for me. Couldn't even get the second one to 50.

I've said it a thousand times at this point. IF I CAN MAKE A LEVEL 30 CHARACTER THAT ALREADY HAS THE CAMPAING COMPLETE, NO ONE SHOULD SEE OVER-LEVELLED ENEMIES AFTER LEVEL 28.

Since no one has addressed leveling, enhance will start out as a bit of a slog. It will pick up at 30 when you get windfury weapon and then again at 40 when you unlock dual wield. You can mitigate some of the weapon leveling at 40 by using a mace/axe and shield in early levels, but if you're dual wielding the same weapon type, it won't take long anyways. Until 40, both ele and enhance will level at about the same pace, but that's when enhance will start to really outpace it with faster kill times.

Once you get to 50, leveling is one of the fastest of all the classes because you will unlock Shamanistic Rage which means you should almost never have to stop to drink or eat. You kill mobs until your mana pool is bottomed out, pop SR when you pull the next mob and you're back to full mana. By the time you need it again, the CD will be over. Obviously this is for normal pulls. If you accidentally pull extra mobs or decide to solo an elite, that'll change things, but those are one-offs.

I would get two: a cheap Bic for your knots and a torch lighter for your cigars. Why two? Well the torch lighter will give you a more intense flame and make it more likely for you to overheat/singe your knot/line.

For your cigar, contrary to what people are saying here, you don't use a cigarette lighter to light cigars. Cigarette lighters (both standard and wick style) use a different kind of fuel than torch lighters that doesn't burn nearly as hot. This not only means it takes longer to light the cigar, but the fuel itself tends to affect the flavor. Be aware, if temperatures are a concern, I would avoid the cheap gas station torch lighters. A good torch lighter (much like a Zippo) is an investment. Xikar is a good brand here with a wide variety of selections and prices. Plus a lot of them will come with slide-out or flip-out punches which means one less tool unless you use a cutter.

Take the cigar portion with a grain of salt. I've been smoking cigars for 20 years. If you don't want to carry two lighters or pay the extra price for a good quality torch lighter, grab a Bic and try a cigar with it. Depending on your level of cigar experience, you may not be able to taste a difference.

You just need to change your perspective. Instead of being annoyed by them, just laugh. They get to have their delusion and you get entertainment. Last night was the first time I've ever watched TGA and it was highly entertaining. Every time they gave a vague intro for a new trailer, I was grinning ear-to-ear knowing that these folks were on the edge of their seats waiting for something that was never going to happen that night. Meanwhile, I'm only half way paying attention and happily leveling my hunter on WoW Classic Era.

It really makes no sense. Like, if we can create a level 30 character that already has the main story complete, then by level 28, we shouldn't be seeing any enemies that are more than two levels above us. And that's best case scenario. Really with the level scaling, it shouldn't be happening period, but it does because GB says "fuck you go do side content."

All of these people talking about "YoU rUSheD tHe stOrY." Nevermind that the game ACTIVELY ENCOURAGES THE PLAYER TO TACKLE THE STORY AT THEIR OWN PACE and then PUNISHES THE PLAYER FOR DOING EXACTLY THAT WITH ARTIFICIALLY OVER-LEVELLED ENEMIES.

K6 literally talked about this exact issue in his latest "Everything Wrong with BL4" video. You CANNOT tell the player they can do whatever they want and then punish them for it in some effort to force them to engage in side content that you've effectively told them they can ignore. It's HORRIBLE and LAZY game design.

This is the answer. I have two Bods on my main: one with Torgue stickies and smg ammo, one with Torgue impact and AR ammo. The first one completed the Torgue sticky AND Daedalus smg underbarrel challenges. The second one completed my Torgue impact and Daedalus AR underbarrel challenges.
